Independent Brooklyn-based rapper Ill Bill will receive backing on his forthcoming album from a number of Hip-Hop heavyweights, including Wu-Tang Clansman Raekwon and underground rap fixture Immortal Technique.

The album, titled The Hour Of Reprisal, is the follow up to Ill Bill’s first release What's Wrong with Bill?

In addition to the debut, the former Non Phixion and current La Coka Nostra member has released a string of mixtapes.

Raekwon and Immortal Technique are among the artists featured on The Hour of Reprisal.

Collaborations with Cypress Hill frontman B-Real, Vinnie Paz and Necro are also featured on the album, which also features appearances from legendary hardcore punk band Bad Brains and heavy metal groups Slayer and Killswitch Engage.

Production on the Uncle Howie Records / Fat Beats Records project will be handled by DJ Premier, DJ Muggs, T-Ray, DJ Lethal and Ill Bill himself, a first for the rapper.

Ill Bill will hit the road next month as part of a North American headlining tour with Heltah Skeltah’s Sean Price.

The outing, which will include a performance at this year's We The People Festival in Los Angeles on Sept. 27, will kick off Sept.11 and run through November 9.

Ill Bill’s The Hour of Reprisal is slated to hit stores September 16.

The following is a tracklisting for the album:

    1. Babylon feat. Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage
    2. Doomsday Was Written In An Alien Bible
    3. Trust Nobody
    4. A Bullet Never Lies feat Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks

I notice that Pyscho+Logical Records artists dont get much if any (besides this) attention in the "mainstream" hip hop media...  A whole bunch of people have no idea of who Ill Bill is, and boy they are missing out.  A legit hardcore white MC, who has his own rugged style, a veteran in the game, and a brother who is one of the most talented, versatile, unknown producers in Necro.  Necro = The white Master P (NOT music wise but business wise... BUT, you could compare No Limit's success in their hay day to Necro's camps' success 2004-to present)...  I really think AHH.com readers need a legit lesson on who these cats are, as PLR has got a whole slew of new cats at their label.  Necro, Mr. Hyde, Ill Bill, Sabac, Q-Unique, Nems (Check out Nems battle rappin' against Mic Assasin on YouTube, shit is hilarious), Sean Strange, Riveria Regime...  This clique is thick, and real hard.  Real as fuck too.  They range from topics of gore, and sex, to politics, and the illuminati...  (Non-Phixion cats know whats up with that)...  Necro has had his hands on a countless amount of cult-classic underground favorite LP's... all of his own releases, Ill Bill's, Mr. Hyde... the list goes on.  Necro's production is up to par, and very very advanced.  The shit thumps hard, and he is Dr. Dre'esque when it comes to perfection and detail...
Check them out @ www.necrohiphop.com... and they got all their own MySpaces...  This shit needs to be put out there on AHH.  Dont sleep on these cats.  STR8 GOONS.

Yeh co sign, they (Ill Bill and Necro) got front cover off Hip Hop Connection magazine ova here in England (UK Mag). There the only mainstream mag that rep for underground artists as well as UK hip hop artists. They been in publication since 1985ish. Suport dem, they 100x better then 'The Sauce', XXL n Vibe and whatver

Plus if Premier is on your album you have to be half nice anyway beause Preem dont work with anyone. This should be a dope album.....
