(AllHipHop News) The long, complicated relationship between two of Hip Hop’s most accomplished performers is being explored in a new documentary set to run on British television.

Public Enemies: Jay-Z vs Kanye is scheduled to air July 31 on the United Kingdom’s Channel 4.

“With unseen footage and exclusive interviews, this [program] reveals the story behind Jay-Z and Kanye West’s spectacular rise, their creative partnership and their colossal falling out,” reads the description for the doc on Channel 4’s website.

The two one-time Roc-A-Fella Records rappers have been closely tied together ever since Ye contributed production for Jay’s 2001 classic The Blueprint.

They went on to work together on numerous songs including “Never Let Me Down,” “Diamonds From Sierra Leone (Remix),” “Swagga Like Us,” “Run This Town,” and “Monster.”

The culmination of their musical partnership came in the form of the 2011 Watch The Throne collaborative LP.

Over the past year, it appeared Jay and Kanye’s rapport became strained.

Ye publicly called out Jay during a 2016 “Saint Pablo Tour” stop, and Hov had some words for his former protégé on the song “Kill Jay Z” off this year’s 4:44 album.

There have also been reports the native Brooklynite and the Chicago representative are engaged in a legal battle over money related to the Tidal streaming service.

However, everything seemed good between the two megastars in January when sources claimed new Jay-Z/Kanye West music could be on the way.
