R. Kelly Cancels Dates On ‘After Party’ Tour, Reportedly Hires Crisis Manager

KELLZ WAS SET TO LOSE $400K IN SALES

(AllHipHop News) R&B superstar R. Kelly’s career was able to survive years of accusations the singer is a pedophile.

It appears the recent reports about Kelly is leading a “sex cult” may have been the final straw for his fans.

According to Billboard, the “Bump n’ Grind” performer canceled three dates on his current “After Party” tour.

Shows scheduled for New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Dallas were scrapped.

Other shows are currently still set to take place, including stops in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Family members of 21-year-old Joycelyn Savage accused R. Kelly of manipulating her and holding her hostage.

Savage has publicly stated she is not being held without her consent, and Kelly denied the accusations of being involved in a cult.

However, Page Six reports the Chicago native hired a crisis management team.

A source also told the publication, “The promoter sent an e-mail to R. Kelly’s team and told them they were set to lose $400,000 if sales didn’t pick up fast. They canceled.”

In addition, Kelly added Monique Pressley, Bill Cosby’s former attorney, to his legal team.
