Jeezy made it clear he’s not playing games when it comes to Nia Long, confirming during a June 2025 appearance on The Breakfast Club that he’s ready to pursue the actress now that his divorce is finalized.
The rapper didn’t dodge the rumors about his chemistry with Long during their viral 2023 sit-down.
When asked if he was “trying to holla” at her, he laughed and said, “They wasn’t lying.”
He admitted he was interested but held back out of respect for his then-pending split from Jeannie Mai. “I had to be respectful,” he said.
Now that both are reportedly single, Jeezy isn’t hiding his intentions.
“It was hard. It was tough staying focused,” Jeezy said of their interview before inviting Nia Long to his Thug Motivation 101 20th Anniversary Orchestra Tour.
“I’mma hit the park button,” he said, confirming he would “absolutely” spin the block for Long. “I’m not gone’ play about that.”
The rapper also made it clear he’s not the type to cheat, emphasizing that he waited until his divorce was finalized before making any moves.

He reflected on the difficult period during the divorce, saying, “I just want peace, I just want joy and I just want freedom. I love my freedom.”
