Reginelli Gambino Screams “#FreeCMurder On New Album

Veteran New Orleans rapper Reginelli Gambino is back with a new project dedicated to keeping C-Murder’s name alive.

The Gambino Family is a Platinum-selling rap group that was signed to Master P’s legendary No Limit imprint.

The group launched in 1997 consisting of four members: Lil Gotti, Pheno, Malachi and Reginelli Gambino.

One year later, The Gambino Family unleashed their first album titled Ghetto Organized which peaked at #17 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on the R&B and Hip-Hop albums chart.

Raised in the streets, Reginelli had to take a break from the studio to serve time behind bars.

Now that he’s back home, he’s determined more than ever to perfect his craft and pick up where he left off as a Platinum-selling artist.

AllHipHop caught up with Gambino who is releasing his forthcoming album Free C-Murder Reloaded in December.

AllHipHop: What can we expect from the #FreeCMurder (Reloaded) album in December?

Reginelli Gambino: You can expect real quality street hip-hop and rap music from us, along with a couple of remixes and dedications as you always get from The Gambino group here down South. I just want to keep C-Murder’s, my blood cousin’s name alive and show the world he’s an innocent man

I want to make sure that C-Murder fans and supporters know that this #FreeCMurder (Reloaded) album contributions will be going directly to his family. This project will have a mixture of new artists and established artists, mostly from the South.

AllHipHop: Talk about making a Master P diss, who’s your first cousin. What happened between you guys?

Reginelli Gambino: P was robbing us out the gate. Master P knew we (as in some of the artists signed to No Limit) didn’t know the business side of music: when one eats, we’re all supposed to eat. He took advantage of his own cousins and other people under him on No Limit. The Master P’ diss song came about after he made an Instagram post saying little slick messages toward me.

After that, I dropped a diss song. Almost everything was in the open. I’ve really been holding back on him. Plus, I don’t like how he did his own brother C-Murder when Cee really needed him. That was messed up and P knows that.

At the time, me and my brother were underaged when we released the Gambino Family album, we were around 16. P got the judge to legally make us adults even though we were underaged. So now, my mother and my father don’t feel like we didn’t get what we deserved and they can’t do anything about it because we were declared adults.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?

Reginelli Gambino: Y’all stay on the lookout for Free C-Murder (Reloaded) in December, with artists like Gwalla, SKE, Micah, Green, Malachi, my family and more. In the meantime, check out my latest video “Roll With It.” Free Mac and Free C-Murder!
