(AllHipHop News) In today’s music market, artists are constantly embracing ways to get their product to their fans without the traditional top-down major label/distributor model. Veteran emcee Talib Kweli is one of the performers who is skipping the “middlemen” for the release of his new album Gravitas.
Consumers can now pre-order the LP directly from Kweli’s website Kweliclub.com. Gravitas is the Black Star member’s 6th solo album. It will be the second studio project from Kweli this year following his Prisoner of Conscious album released in May.

When you pre-order my newest project, Gravitas, available Dec 15th, you will be buying it directly from me, no middleman, and I will now have a direct relationship with you. Who needs this industry when we have each other. The technology exists for me to have this relationship with the fans, and vice versa. It is a grand experiment. Lets go for it!
The Brooklyn rapper is also providing some fans with exclusive access during upcoming shows. Attendees who purchase separate tickets to private meet and greet discussions will be able to interact and take photos with the star at the venue before the concert begins.
