The Game & Beanie Sigel’s Conversation About Meek Mill Leaks Online (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) It appeared the drama between Meek Mill, The Game, and Beanie Sigel had died down.

The feud may have just been reignited after a taped conversation between Game and Beanie leaked to the internet.

“You got every right to do whatever you want to do to Meek. That’s y’all beef,” Beans can be heard telling Game. “I’m not calling about Meek. Literally, I could give two sh-ts. We not making no paper with Meek.”

Previously, both Beanie Sigel and The Game admitted to speaking by phone after Meek released a diss track aimed at Game which featured Beans.

RZA Speaks On Azealia Banks/Russell Crowe Conflict (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Besides releasing a lengthy statement, RZA went on TMZ Live to further address the conflict between Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe that took place at a Beverly Hills hotel.

RZA admitted Crowe spit at Banks, but the Wu-Tang Clan member also claimed AB was the violent person in the confrontation.

“I wouldn’t say Russell got angry,” stated RZA. “She was calling Russell all kind of names.”

He added, “She attacked like physically. Verbal abuse is one thing. She physically attacked. To me, she was attacking Russell. He deflected, grabbed her, and took her out [of the room].”

According to RZA, Crowe picked up Banks and carried her out of the suite but he never choked her like the “212” performer suggested.

Overnight, Azealia Banks returned to Facebook with a message directed at her “haters.”

“I need to take full advantage of the hatred people have for me. Regardless of whether or not I am liked, I’m ALWAYS being written about/looked at,” wrote Banks. “There needs to be more kunty snaps of me to quench my haters [sic] thirst.”

“Logan” Looks Like The Wolverine Movie Fans Deserve

Hugh Jackman’s swan song is here, the final installment of the Wolverine movies and his departure from the role. “Logan” dropped today and the movie looks like a perfect balance between the Wolverine we met 16 years ago (yes, it has been that long since the X-Men premiered) and the present-day evolution of the super hero. He goes back to the hardcore, tortured loner that he started off as. There is no rating, but the trailer is raw, which suggests it could get the “R” like Deadpool.

And, the Guardians of the Galaxy 2’s trailer dropped as well.

Jay Z Makes History With Songwriters Hall of Fame Nomination

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop icon Jay Z has become the first rapper in history to land a nomination for the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The “Empire State of Mind” star, real name Shawn Carter, was named to the longlist for the Class of 2017 in his first year of eligibility.

Nominees are considered for induction if they have been writing hits for at least 20 years. Jay Z released his classic debut album, Reasonable Doubt, in 1996.

He joins the likes of Madonna, George Michael, Gloria Estefan, Bryan Adams, Chicago, Kool & the Gang, Cat Stevens, Sly Stone, and Vince Gill as performing nominees, while producers Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and Max Martin are among the non-performing songwriters up for possible induction next year, according to The Associated Press.

The official announcement will be made by organization bosses on Friday, October 21.

Hall of Fame members will have until December 16 to cast their votes, and the top five picks will be announced in the New Year.

The 48th annual Induction and Awards Dinner will take place in New York City on June 5, 2017.

The Class of 2016 was made up of Nile Rodgers, Marvin Gaye, Tom Petty, and Elvis Costello, while Chip Taylor and Rodgers’ late Chic bandmate, Bernard Edwards, were also celebrated at the June 2016 ceremony.

Previous inductees include Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Carole King, Paul McCartney, Lionel Richie, David Bowie, James Brown, and Dolly Parton.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame, which honours the masters behind the music industry’s biggest hits, was founded in 1969 by songwriter Johnny Mercer and music publishers Abe Olman and Howie Richmond.

Guess Who Is Preparing To Drop Their 17th Studio Album?

The Roots fans can now rejoice as the group revealed that they have been in the studio working on their new album, ‘The End Game’. The album happens to be their 17th studio album.

Questlove previewed a few clips showing Stro Elliot getting funky on the beat machine. Though little is known at this time about prospective collaborators, we do know that Karriem Riggins will be involved with the project as well.

Apparently the production process for the forthcoming album is similar to that of their ‘Illadelph Halflife’ album that is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year.

We are unsure as to when the album will drop, but we are willing to be patient as we feel it will certainly be worth the wait. Are you here for a new album from The Roots?

The Real Reason Kanye Is Mad At Jay Z!

Kanye West has aired Jay Z out. He proclaimed that there will never be another “Watch The Throne” album. He says that their kids don’t play together. He’s said that the Apple/Tidal stuff has gotten in the way. And lastly, he said that Jay would not get on a song with him and Drake, because…Jay Z had respect for Meek. Hmmmmmmm….

ANYWAY. There is another, BIGGER REASON that Kanye is not happy with Jay Z. Kanye says “Big Brother” didn’t show enough concern when Kim Kardashian was attacked and hogtied. He did call them, but I supposed Kanye wanted Jay to come over and console them.

Thoughts?

Meek Mill And 21 Savage Ride Bike Together And The ‘Net Goes In

I know this is considered an ignorant statement in enlightened circles but Hip-Hop still says “pause” so let it be what it is. THE INTERWEBS ARE HAVING A BALL with the Instagram post of Meek and 21 Savage riding the streets together – on the same motor bike.

I don’t know. This is all the rage in Meek’s world. I don’t see the big deal at this point, but seems to be something people have jokes about. See it below.

RZA Writes Long Letter On Azealia Banks Debacle

(AllHipHop News) The RZA of the famed Wu Tang Clan has written a lengthy, impassioned letter explaining what happened between movie star Russell Crowe and Azealia Banks.

While the letter is long, the rapper flat-out says that he did not hear Crowe call Banks a “n***er.” He also says that he hope nobody else must experience how Banks acts, because she attacked another woman at a private dinner party where she was the Wu-chief’s guest. RZA also maintains that Banks was never signed to him, as she alleged, but promoted it as such on social media.

“I’m not signing sh*t with RZA,” “If these guys can chump you out like that, that’s not somebody I can attach myself to. No, (he didn’t defend me), because RZA doesn’t have that much clout…in a room full of high-powered White men.”

Read the whole letter below, exactly how it was listed on Facebook.

Peace.
Normally I don’t respond to negative social media attacks towards me. Yet in this case of Azealia Banks I’m compelled to respond.
Firstly I only wish the best for her and any struggling artist in this complex industry.

Azealia was brought to my attention while I was casting my next Film Coco. I heard the rumors of her problems in the industry but disregarded them with the rationality everyone is innocent until proven guilty. So my producer and I fought for her to be in the film and we succeeded. During the filming process things ran smooth and she delivered. Thus my only experience with her had been professional. The only brief social moment was at the wrap party. Therefore “I HAD NO REAL EXPERIENCE OF HER SOCIAL BEHAVIOR…”
A few weeks ago Azealia hit me up for some economic help and bong I gave a helping hand.
She then followed up asking me to help her get a record deal.

I called a friend and bong a record deal was on the table. The only clause my buddy gave was I be the filter because the word is “she is volatile”.
I called her and told her a deal was in the workings. She immediately, prematurely went to social media and claimed she signed a deal with RZA Yet no deal was signed.
I didn’t respond or comment to her post because I’m not the type to stop the hustle.
I actually wanted her to win.
I advised her to stay focus, leave social media and tabloids alone and let your music and art do your talking.
She then hits me for a ticket to LA to work and Bong I comply.
She then needs a place to stay and bong I put her in a hotel.

I returned to LA shortly after and we scheduled a meeting.
I invited her to meet me at the BHH Polo Lounge. Yet I head also planned on spending some time with my Buddy RC in his suite so I ask him can she join. He says “cool Bobby” so I invited her.
Before the night is over Azealia is insulting half the room she becomes loud and obnoxious.
There was nothing funny about her behavior. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest.
Still verbal abuse can be tolerated but when it goes physical…
Azealia threaten to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason.
Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite.
Seeing is believing and I saw her behave as an obnoxious erratic individual and in the circles I frequent this was unprecedented. I was totally puzzles by her and thought maybe meds or booze or something had her zoned out.
Nevertheless I made sure she got home safe.
THIS IS NOT A RACE OR GENDER ISSUE.
I did not hear Russell call her a N::gg::::
I’m not trying to protect Russell from anything he is a man of his own Caliber.
My art, talent and success speaks for it self and Azealia’s recent slander of me and self victimization reflect’s the personality of the person that was in that room that night.
I have a wife, daughters, sisters and females on my staff so I protect women everyday.
I pray none of them ever behave the way I witnessed Azealia Banks behaved that night.
Rza

Is Ciara Expecting Baby No. 2?

Rumor has it that Ciara is about to become a mom again.

CiCi’s appearance and performance as Revlon’s new global brand ambassador certainly helped fuel the rumors.

The singer wore a loose fitting tuxedo jacket, seemingly to hide the baby that is allegedly on board.

Sources tell E!News that the “Goodies” singer is actually expecting.

“Ciara is pregnant and is so excited to be a mom. Russell would like to have two to three children. They both would like a big family,” a source tells E! News.

Look at CiCi living and shhhhhh. She slid through with the Future upgrade and got her “happily ever after.” Congrats to Ciara & Russ if this is true!

Your Favorite Hit Show Is Being Sued For Copyright Infringement Again!

It appears that hit Starz show ‘Power’ is being sued for copyright infringement once again!

The hit show is being sued by Larry Johnson and Blake Keller for not only copyright infringement, but also for fraud and breach of contract.

The suit has been filed against the show’s executive producers (including 50 Cent & Monique Presley), show creator, Starz Entertainment LLC, Anchor Bay Entertainment LLC, CBS Television, and author Nikki Turner.

Apparently Johnson wrote this work 12 years ago under his pen name, “The Ghost,” and both his work as well as ‘Power’ explore an African American protagonist drug dearler using ill-gotten gains to transition into the realm of legitimate business.

Johnson and Keller also allege that Power has ventured far beyond likeness as the show goes as far as to borrow plots, character names, and almost identical language from their work.

We shall see if these two come out victorious LOL.

Texas Titans Goldie The Gasman x Z-Ro Show Off Their Diamonds In New Visual

Earlier this year Texas trap rhymer Goldie The Gasman treated the streets with a catchy little street anthem featuring none other than Future entitled “We On Em.”

Now, he follows that up by collabing with Texas OG Z-Ro for some good ol’ ‘diamonds’ talk on “Diamonds In Ya Mouth.”

The video is exactly what you’d expect from two former corner boys, nailing of the requisite ingredients – slabs, booties and, of course, Diamonds.

The ditty is off of Goldie’s upcoming project, “The Crackprint” due out latwr this year via Empire Distribution.

Houston’s Kyle Hubbard Shows Off The City’s Hipster Side On “This Is Houston”

When you think of Houston rap, city fave Kyle Hubbard is not likely to jump immediately to mind.

No slab. No lean. He isn’t ‘screwed up.’ But Kyle, as well as cameos T2 The Ghetto Hippie and Lyric Michelle and other like them have been a staple of the Screwston underground for years.

On “This Is Houston”, Kyle showcases his support for the hometown as vehemently as any trap rapper.

In addition to the many landmarks that get some shine; Frenchy’s, The Breakfast Club, Warehouse Live amongst them, Kyle dons a plethora of t-shirts throughout, each sporting either a local band or purchased from the local brands 1836 Clothing Company & Forgotten Arts Clothing.

Lyric, T2, and I don’t fit into the mold that is so often associated with Houston hip-hop, despite the fact we have all three been active members in the city’s hip-hop scene for years.

Lyric’s hook is dripping with Houston hip-hop stereotypes, but that it is delivered by a female emcee known for her poetic lyrics gives the whole thing a tongue-in-cheek feel. The verses delivered by T2 and myself are more on the nose with the entire concept. The juxtaposition between the hook/production and the verses is all very deliberate.” Hubbard tells the Chronicle when they debuted the video.

Take a tour and see if you agree this IS Houston.

Cam’ron & Jim Jones Trade Shots In Dave East’s Instagram Comments!

Every time Cam’ron and Jim Jones get into it on social media we can’t help but to laugh.

These two Dipset men just can’t seem to get right. Their drama did pop off again on the ‘gram, but this time it was in Dave East’s comments.

East made a post about Cam passing him the torch for Harlem. Diplomats member Jim Jones was clearing in his feelings when he decided to chime in saying,

“Lol th torch lol tell him make u dip set lol.”

Killa Cam always comes through with clowning Jones so, he quickly shot back while referencing Max B’s return. Cam also told Dave East that Jim Jones had been talking about him behind his back, and that he really didn’t f-ck with him.

Jim Jones and Cam’ron have had a little rift since 2007, it seems over money, loyalty, and growing stardom. Even throughout their tumultuous relationship both sides have maintained that they still have an unconditional yet weird love for each other because of what they’ve been through and started together.

I don’t know man, these cats are funny. Hopefully one day they can put all of their differences aside. Although Cam goes in on Jim on the net often, he revealed earlier this year that he’d never go hard on Jim because all in all, that’s still his man.
