It looks like 2 Chainz & Lil’ Wayne will be teaming up again to release a sequel to their joint project, ‘ColleGrove’. During an interview with Genius, the duo was asked about the possibility of a second installment and 2 Chainz and Wayne replied saying,
“There’s plenty of that sh*t,” said 2 Chainz.
Lil Wayne added,
“Oh, that’s already done.”
Apparently they have enough material to make the sequel happen, especially with the fact that 2 Chainz revealed that Lil’ Wayne records so often. Did you like ColleGrove? Would you be here for the sequel?

Snoop Dogg is pretty upset about Arnold Schwarzenegger shortening the sentence of a murderer whose father happened to be one of Arnold’s political allies. Snoop goes in calling Arnold everything from a racist piece of sh*t to a punk MF. Schwarzenegger released Esteban Nunez from prison 10 years early.
Nunez was convicted for manslaughter, but on the last day he was in office, Arnold shortened Esteban’s sentence from 16 years to 7. Snoop believes it is cronyism and white privilege because his friend Stanley “Tookie” Williams died by lethal injection as Arnold refused to stop his execution. Snoop says he can’t wait to catch Arnold in the streets because he is going to confront him. Snoop also says,
“I hope he running with Trump so we can knock both of you n*ggas off at the same time.”
Apparently Iggy Azalea has had it with Nick Young and his cheating…well kinda. Nick Young is already going through problems with The Lakers following his cheating scandal, and things may get worse if Iggy catches him cheating again.
Iggy recently sat down with Tampa’s Wild 94.1 where she revealed that she gave Nick an ultimatum. She says she’s going to stick around, but if she catches him cheating again she will cut off his penis. Iggy said,
“No, I’m not cool with it. You will have half a penis. I already said one more video, just one more thing and you will lose a quarter of your meat.”
Iggy says she’s letting Nick slide because she doesn’t know if Nick in fact cheated. Ummmm but he verbally admitted it on video that he cheated on the girl. She’s not going anywhere. Or actually we shall see because another video just came out!
Rumor has it that Ludacris & his wife Eudoxie may be expecting their second child together. Luda has three girls, and now the couple may be hoping for a son. It looks like Eudoxie has been completely covered up lately. Last time Eudoxie was pregnant, she did a big reveal on Instagram after months of speculation. If they are in fact expecting, congrats to Luda & E!
Daye Jack returns in a new but retro video for his single “Finish Line.” No but for real, this song is as funky as it gets and could double as an ALTERNATIVE PICK of the day. This is too cool though, we need yall to bump this one. In the mean time Daye Jack will be on the road in a city near you soon!
Following his lush Soul Glitch EP, the 20-year old MC has had an “Expensive” collaboration with Tori Kelly, remixed “Doors” for Cardinox’, and released several singles, including the politically heavy “Hands Up” with Killer Mike. Expect more of his eclectic palette on his full-length debut out later this year which features production from Mike Elizondo, Nosaj, Max Martin and more.

(AllHipHop News) Even though Nicki Minaj is known to have been involved in very public spats with other female entertainers such as Lil Kim, Mariah Carey, and Miley Cyrus, there was no drama with her fellow leading lady cast mate on the set of Barbershop: The Next Cut. Co-star Eve stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about the Ice Cube led comedy set to hit theaters on April 15, and she discussed her time working with Nicki.
“It was good actually. Cause you never know. Especially females together. Women can be catty,” said Eve. “Honestly, she was so sweet. She was really cool. She was very professional. She killed it in the movie. It was nice to see her in a different light.”
While things were cordial between the two, the “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” spitter made it clear that she and Nicki did not discuss working on any music together. The two East Coast representatives were not the only rappers featured in Barbershop 3. Cube, Common, and Tyga are part of the movie as well.
Eve is working on her own new music. The Philadelphia native’s last LP was 2013’s Lip Lock. Her debut album, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, hit #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart in 1999.
(AllHipHop News) NBA legend Kobe Bryant is set to hang up his basketball sneaks this week after 20 seasons in the league. As Los Angeles and the rest of the world count down the final moments of Kobe’s career, many people are reflecting on the legacy of the 37-year-old future Hall of Famer.
ESPN connected with Compton emcee Kendrick Lamar to get his thoughts on what Kobe represented for the City Of Angels. Kendrick offered praise to the 5-time champion over a sound bed of the TDE star’s song “untitled 07.”
“Growing up watching him paint murals. Using this building as his first studio. Using L.A. as his canvas. Restoring crowns back to where they belong,” recites Kendrick. “Under royal banners. Purple and gold, the color of royalty. Our one man L.A. king.”
Kobe Bryant’s final game in the NBA is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13. The Los Angeles Lakers will be facing the Utah Jazz at The Staples Center.
(AllHipHop News) The latest outcome of the ongoing “streaming wars” is the announcement that Drake’s upcoming album, Views From The6, will be available only on Apple Music for a limited time. According to Buzzfeed, the LP will be exclusive to the service for the first seven days after its April 29 release.
Drizzy’s fourth studio album will just be the most recent example of artists presenting their work on a certain platform. The Toronto rapper previously dropped What A Time To Be Alive, his joint project with Future, via Apple Music. The service also exclusively hosted Dr. Dre’s Compton for two weeks.
Fellow rhymer Kanye West premiered his The Life Of Pablo on Tidal. In addition, the Jay Z led company had initial exclusivity rights for Rihanna’s Anti and Lil Wayne’s Free Weezy Album.
Drake’s relationship with Apple began when he signed a reported $19 million deal with the tech giant in 2015. The “Summer Sixteen” performer also has the OVO Sound show broadcast through Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio.
(AllHipHop News) Rihanna’s smash “Work” keeps helping the superstar singer cement herself in the record books. The single topped the Hot 100 chart for the eighth straight week, and RiRi is now in a tie with The Beatles for the second-most total weeks spent at #1.
The Bajan beauty now has a total of 59 weeks in the top spot during her career. Only Mariah Carey’s 79 weeks is ahead of Rihanna and The Beatles. They are followed by Boyz II Men with 50 weeks and Usher with 47 weeks.
Rihanna has racked up 14 career #1 singles. She is currently in fourth place on that all time list behind The Beatles (20), Elvis Presley (18), and Mariah Carey (18).
(AllHipHop Rumors) Shad “Bow Wow” Moss may have tried too hard to stunt for the Gram. A few days ago Bow Wow posted a picture of a stack of money to his Instagram page. The caption reads, “Liquid cash…. **** a net worth!”
That seemed fine until another IG user claimed Bow stole his pic to pretend the money really belonged to the actor-rapper. Millionaire stock trader Timothy Sykes called out Bow Wow. He wrote:
Another musician [Shad Moss] is using my cash photos, c’mon Bow Wow, don’t post in black & white, at least use my original photo in all its glory or better yet, go signup at http://timothysykes.com/plans so I can teach you how to make it yourself so you don’t have to reuse anyone else’s photo, you can be my next millionaire student id you’re dedicated!
After the Internet began bashing Bow Wow for apparently lying about the cash, he returned to IG to show he did actually have at least $40K to show off. Bow added, “I could really turn up on the gram. Lawd knooows I’m trying to be humble.” That still didn’t sit well with people on IG. Users flooded Bow Wow’s comment section with jokes and critiques.
Check out Bow Wow and Timothy Sykes’ Instagram posts and some user comments in the gallery below.
(AllHipHop News) At one point it seemed like the Kanye West/Taylor Swift conflict had died down. Then after the release of Kanye’s new album, The Life Of Pablo, the feud reignited because of Ye’s lyrics about at Taylor on “Famous.”
During a recent concert in Manila, Philippines, Kanye spoke to the crowd about his history with Swift. According to the G.O.O.D. Music founder, the initial incident at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards – where Ye took the microphone from Swift – was a monumental negative moment in his life.
“That night when I went on stage was the beginning of the end of my life. Lady Gaga canceled the tour the next day,” stated Kanye. “You know what night I’m talking about, when I just said what everybody else was thinking.”
The Chicago rhymer caught tremendous backlash for interrupting Swift during her acceptance speech at the VMAs. Kanye used that moment to tell the world Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” deserved to win the award for Best Female Video, not Swift’s “You Belong with Me.”
“So if I get in trouble for saying the truth, what’s being said the rest of the time?” added Ye. “I had to fight every day for the rest of my life with the whole world turned against me for saying out loud what everyone else felt. But that’s the job of the artist, of a true artist, not to be controlled by their finances, not to be controlled by perception, but only to be controlled by their truth.”
Today (April 12) we are introducing NoGenre artist London Jae to you in case you’re not familiar. His single “BDTDT” featuring B.o.B is building a lot of momentum starting with the Atlanta clubs and now this Zaytoven produced song is spreading everywhere else. Check it out below:
Problem keeps the Diamond Lane train rolling with his newest cut “Best P***y.” This song is without a doubt just in time for your Summer fling and is available on Problem’s new mixtape Hotels 2: The Master Suite.. Video direction is from Joseph Kindred on the Problem produced track .
An amazing visual for an amazing story about the harsh realities of life and unforetold realities, as told by Black Sheep Dres. A unique and mesmerizing look and listen at what seems to be a missing art form in hip hop… storytelling.

(AllHipHop News) This year the 2016 Billboard Awards finalists were announced live on ABC’s Good MorningAmerica.
During a celebration of the announcements by Ludacris and Ciara, who is this year’s host, images of the potential winners appeared on a screen in the background.
As Future’s image came across the screen Ludacris had to fill in for Ciara, as she apparently skipped over or refused to mention her ex and father of her son.
While the FutureHive has since buzzed back at Ciara on social media, neither artist has commented on the matter.
In a statement from Billboard, the Music Awards finalists are based on fan interaction with the music.
Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound.
The awards are based on the tracking dates March 23, 2015 and March 17, 2016, also including Billboard chart dates April 11, 2015 through April 2, 2016.

(AllHipHop News) Today (April 11) eOne Music announced the second posthumous release from the recently deceased Coke Boys artist Chinx (formerly Chinx Drugz).
The album dubbed, Legends Never Die will be debuting on all platforms June 3rd, 2016.
eOne Music announced the release and launched the project’s first single, “For the Love” featuring Meet Sims (listen below).
As reported in 2015, the untimely and tragic death of the Queens, NY native Chinx last May sent shock waves throughout the Hip Hop world, especially in his hometown of New York City.
Chinx, who was an affiliate of French Montana’s Coke Boys, signed to eOne Music in February of 2015 and was diligently working on his debut album, Welcome to JFK.
Chinx was quoted talking about the album saying, “I’m in a great space creatively, and it’s time to really play.”
Doug “Biggs” Ellison, Chinx’s manager, added that watching Chinx develop as an artist was an amazing experience. “He had finally come into his own, musically. His work ethic was second to none.”
As eOne prepares for his second release, fans can hear the song “For The Love” below:
Tory Lanez continues to deny having any beef with Drake in the media, but sometimes it seems like fans catch him randomly taking a shot at Drizzy! Before heading out on their “Level Up Tour”,Tory Lanez and A$AP Ferg linked up for their new single “Line Up The Flex”. After taking a listen, folks can’t help to wonder if Tory may be throwing some shots at the fellow Canadian rapper.
When Drake dropped his “Summer Sixteen” many believed he was throwing shots at Tory in one of his verses when he said,
“You was never gang, gang, gang, gang, you was never one of us / Had us fooled for a minute there, now we done all grow’d up.”
Now it sounds like Tory might be responding to Drake. In his verse on “Line Up The Flex” he says,
“F*ck them ni**as that was hating on me, even though a ni**a used to tell ’em all. I was never ever gang, gang, gang, gang, I was One Umbrella Mob.”
This is going to be a hot summer with so many rappers dropping new music. Snoop Dogg has been in the studio with Just Blaze cooking up new music for his forthcoming album that is slated to be released in July! Blaze is back at it! What features do you think Snoop will have on the album, or what features, if any, would you like to see on the album?
Uh oh! A woman named Malika Anderson is accusing A$AP crew affiliate and Yeezy model Ian Connor of raping her. She states that she was sexually assaulted by Connor and she pressed charges. She’s coming out about it now because she says she has found strength since the case is closed. The woman went as far as to call Ian a serial rapist and a predator. Anderson claims that he seeks out women on social media who he thinks he can f*ck, and when they say no, he takes it! Anderson says one of several times she was hanging out with Connor, he asked could he give her “head”, and she told him she wasn’t interested in having sex. She says she finally gave into the oral sex, and allegedly this is when Ian raped her. She also says something didn’t feel right about the incident, and she went to get tested the next day and learned that she had contracted gonorrhea. Ian is claiming that the girl’s boyfriend found out so she decided to make up a story. Well to make matters worse, 6 other women are also claiming to have been raped by Ian.
Ironsidehex (formerly known as hexmurda) returns with an editorial about Big Proof on the somber anniversary of his passing. As always, this op-ed piece has not been edited by AllHipHop, the staff of AllHipHop, the CEO, president or intern of AHH or any of the subsidiaries of said company. We also Read on…RIP PROOF
10 years.
10 muthafuckin’ years.
3650 days.
That’s how long Proof’s been gone.
April 11, 2006 he was taken away from us forever. Up until now I’ve avoided all of his memorials like the plague. I think I’m gonna go to this one.
In Detroit Hip Hop circles, timelines can be broken into two distinct eras. When Proof Was Alive, and After Proof’s Death. I know how it sounds & I’m only half kidding. That’s how profound his impact was on us.
Maybe some of you guys know the story; late night / early morning in a Detroit after hours club, shots ring out. When the smoke cleared two men lay dead & dying, one allegedly shot by Proof, Proof shot dead by Mario Ethridge, the cousin of the other man. Two families and Detroit Hip Hop changed forever. I never found out what the f### REALLY happened in the CCC CLUB that night, all I knew is that my man was dead & I was sad as f### & highly p#####. Over the years I came to deal with it, & I think it’s important to say again that TWO people died as a result of that incident. The other guy that died was named Keith Bender, & he was 35 years old. I just think it’s important that people at least know his name too because nobody is gonna be writing any articles & s### about Keith Bender, & I’m sure his family & friends loved him as much as we loved Proof. The reality is that Proof was Eminem’s best friend & hype man on stage which literally made him THE MAN NEXT TO THE MAN, so writers are gonna write about him. Plus he was my friend & this is my article & Chuck said that I could write whatever the f### I want. The truth is I hate writing these types of pieces. J.DILLA, BAATIN, the DEX OSAMA joint, SEAN P. I feel like the f###### Grim Reaper’s publicist. Man, I wish I didnt have to write this s###. I wish Proof & Keith Bender never bumped heads at that f###### club. I wish Proof ‘s crazy ass wld have just gone the f### home that night after the strip club.
The Strip Club.
I could write 100 pages about PROOF. Could pronably write a book on him. I could write some s### about black on black crime that would make Deray from BLACK LIVES MATTER proud. I could do a super HipHop story about Proof ‘s place in Detroit HipHop that would bring a tear to Harry Allen’s eye. Its impossible to try to sum up Proof ‘s life in one article. so I’m not even gonna try. Ya’ll know how I do it. I’m gonna tell a few stories about him, & I hope ya’ll get some insight into who he was. The strip club seems as good a place to start as any.
Proof loved the f###### strip club. Me & Proof use to go to the strip club EVERYDAY in about 2000 / 2001. We wouldn’t go to just one either, we would do “THE 8 MILE LOOP”. We would start at ALL- STARS & stay there for about an hour or til we got bored, then leave & head west on 8 mile to either TRUMPPS or CITY HEAT, sit down for a minute & have a few drinks, then back in the trucks, heading back east, passing by ALL-STARS & parking at HOT TAMALES. We usually stayed there til close or went BACK to ALL-STARS, then hit THE ZOO after hours joint til about 5 or 6 am. We would do that s### EVERYFUCKINGDAY. Proof was half-vampire. U know who we would see on our strip club adventures? Besides strippers, smart ass. Royce Da 5’9″. Almost everyday. That’s why I never understood why that beef got so out of hand. We wouldn’t sit together at the clubs or share bottles & s### but we were cordial. How him & Proof went from us being in the same spots daily to them pulling mags on each other in the street is beyond me b/c that beef could have been squashed at anytime. Anyway, the reason I mention Royce is that he’s part of the reason one of my favorite Proof stories even happened.
One day Proof called me at about 10 am an UNHEARD of time for either of us to be awake, unless we didn’t go to sleep from the night before. Proof was going to get dropped off at a celebrity basketball game to watch Royce perform & he wanted me to meet him there. It was my man Ron Rice’s event who played safety for the Detroit Lions at the time. I had actually played football in high school with Ron so I agreed. I got up there & it was at a some school gym. It was pretty packed. Royce was supposed to perform at halftime but the DJ equipment they had there kept f###### up. After one of Royce’s two twin dj’s made 2 or 3 attempts to start the show, me & Proof went & said our farewells to Royce & Ron & left.
Proof wanted to get his jewelry cleaned or check on a piece at Hutch’s spot Diamond Castle in Northland Mall so we headed that way. When we got there & were walking in Proof started talking s### about how big my feet were & how I always wore Timberlands & all white Air Force 1’s. I told him I wore a 12 like a real N**** & I wasn’t gonna be standing in front of a damn shoe rack for an hour trying to decide what shoes to wear. He said something slick back & we argued back & forth good naturedly as we walked through the parking lot into the mall. Once we got into Northland we made a beeline for the jewelry spot, b########## w/ Hutch for a minute while Proof got his jewelry cleaned & then we left. Back out in the mall hallway Proof wanted to stop in Champs Sports for a minute & I went in some store that sold leather jackets or some s###. After I looked at some high priced coats I had no intention of buying, I went back to Champs & Proof was on the way out carrying two bags filled w/ shoeboxes. “12, right?” he said. “Here”, & pushed one of the bags at me. “Get some color in your life.” Proof kept walking while I looked in the bag, lifted one corner of the shoebox & peered inside. He had bought me some orange on white Nike Air Force 1 lows. I caught up to him & thanked him, which he brushed off. Then we got in my truck & headed for the strip club.
F###### Proof.
That was an example of good Proof. Generous, good hearted dude. But PROOF would definitely do some crazy s### & put u in a cross unintentionally.
Like this one time …
Proof asked me to do some s### that only he could pull off, like bringing a member of the WuTang Clan & his whole travel party into the studio before an Eminem private session without telling Em or the owner. S###, I wasnt even supposed to be at the studio when Em was recording, & Proof wanted me to meet a buncha StatenIsland dudes & take tbem into the sudio to wait for him. Some real Proof s###. Needless to say, Em showed up before Proof, & I ended up looking like an a######. That didn’t end well.
F###### Proof.
I could go into it deeper, but I ain’t. I did that on the first draft.
But this says it all…
One day Proof & his right hand man 1st Born came over my crib. They brought some Corona’s & we sat on the porch talking s### & drinking beer. I saw my brother driving on the other side of the island & said, ” There goes Ra”. Suddenly Proof lept off the porch & ran & clambered up the tree in my yard like a little spidermonkey. I found out later that his intention was to jump on my brother’s head. Me & 1st yelled at him, while my brother made the turn around the island towards my house. “Dog, what the f### are you doing?” I yelled as he inched out on a limb. My brother parked & got out his truck looking up at Proof quizzically while he hung upside down from my tree limb. Suddenly the limb snapped & Proof came crashing down on his back & laid there for a second still clutching the tree limb. Everybody was too stunned to speak. We didn’t say s###, we just stared at Proof, lying on the grass holding that broken limb. He didn’t say s### either, he just laid there. Finally I said, “You ok, dog?” When I broke the silence, Proof jumped into action.
He bit my tree.
I repeat, he bit my tree.
This crazy muthafucka BIT my tree.
Then he yelled, “1st! Lets go”. Proof grabbed the wayward piece of tree, threw it in the back of his gray Yukon, & jumped in the driver’s seat, starting the vehicle while 1st climbed in the passenger side. My brother & I watched, confused, as they backed out of my driveway at a high speed. For some reason I ran to my ride & chased after them. I have no idea why. The word ” STUPID” comes to mind. The 96 freeway was right by my house & we both jumped on it, beading East. Two Yukon trucks, my older model & his newer flying down the freeway weaving in & out of traffic. At one point 1st pushed the damn branch out onto the road. Luckily I and the cars behind me avoided the limb & averted disaster. I chased Proof all the way to the East side, to Kilbourne & Gratiot. Dogmatic’s crib, where Sicknotes studio was. We laughed about that stupid-ass Dukes of Hazard b####### we just did and drank some more beer & talked more s### on into the night. Little did I know that this tree debacle was just beginning.
Later that night around 3am I was in my house when I heard gunshots. Close gunshots. Like REAL close. In my front yard close. I grabbed my heater & peeked out my window & made out two figures. Proof & 1st Born. One of them knocked & I flew down the steps & flung open my front door. “What the f### are ya’ll doing?” Proof grinned at me. “Me & your tree are beefing”, he said. “So I shot it”.
F###### Proof.
He took this tree beef s### serious too. He attacked my man Marvwon’s bushes because he said that they were down with my tree. He sent me a f###### postcard from Norway talking s### about trees. & he didn’t just shoot my tree that one time. He shot it ALL the time. One time I had some chick over & there it went. ” POW! POW! POW!” The woman was startled. ” What the f###! Is somebody shooting on your porch?” “Calm down”, I replied. “That’s just Proof shooting my tree.” Needless to say that was the last time I saw her.
F###### Proof. .
That’s only 3 stories, I probably have over a 100 more. Everybody who knew him has a couple Proof stories in the chamber. Those are 3 of my personal favorites. I just wanted to share that s### w/ u guys so u could get past all that 1/6 of D12, 1/3 of 5 Ela & The Goon Sqwad, 1/2 of Promatic & Funky Cowboy & T-Stuckey’s man s###. Proof was 1/1. U know how I said that Proof was THE MAN STANDING NEXT TO THE MAN? Those who didn’t know him might see it that way, but he was THE MAN to me.
