Bonaroo has been having some dope stories throughout the weekend. First, Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper linked up with legendary band Earth Wind & Fire during their set, and now this. Rapper Childish Gambino had a set at the music festival, and he ended up premiering brand new music for his lucky audience. Although the video is quite shaky, you can hear clearly the soulful and new rock edge that Gambino is coming with. No word on a new project from Gambino, but you can check out the video below.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran Clash Again on Instagram

When you things can’t get any worse between Chris Brown and his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, they somehow seem to surprise us on a consist basis. Over the weekend, both Breezy and Tran had their opportunities to speak out the current status of their relationship. While Brown sounded a bit more positive about their relationship saying that he would “take it one day at a time” on On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Karrueche just wants both of them to at least be cool if they run into each other.

According to Complex, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran seem to be at it again on Instagram after a recent Access Hollywood interview with the model was posted on theshaderoominc’s account. The singer commented on the brief clip with a long paragraph about how Tran shouldn’t be doing interviews about his life.

Now, that momentum might lead up to the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Rodeo. Yesterday, the protege of Kanye West took to Twitter to announce that Rodeo will be released before August. There is no specific date on when the album will actually release, but expect Rodeo to come out sometime in July.

Tyga Owes More Money

Tyga’s been going through a lot of financial troubles lately. Months ago, the”Rack City” rapper was served papers from his landlord for $90k. Now, Tyga is is being sued for sexual assault from Allisa Brown. Brown was a part of a 2011 music video shoot for Tyga’s single “Make It Nasty”, and some very crazy things happened according to TMZ:

“she claimed she was plied with alcohol, forced to appear topless on camera, and dry humped by some dude in a rabbit suit.”

The Tyga and Brown case came to a settlement for $50k, but Brown has only received half from Tyga in February. There hasn’t been response from the rapper’s party.

Lil Wayne Says He Signed A Deal With Jay-Z

During his performance at KMEL Summer Jam in Oakland, Lil Wayne decided to surprise the crowd with an announcement. “I just signed a deal with my motherf*cking idol, Jay-Z,” Wayne said to cheering fans.

Wayne didn’t specify whether he was referring to a deal with Roc Nation, or simply releasing his music through TIDAL.

At KMEL’s Summer Jam in the Bay, Lil Wayne told the crowd. “I just signed a deal with my motherf**king idol, Jay Z.”

The only thing: Wayne didn’t say what the deal comprised of. The general thought is that he either signed to Roc Nation management or Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service.

Wayne recently release a new track, “Glory,” through Tidal.

He has also been stuck in a legal snafu with Cash Money Records, his recording home since he started as an artist.

YG Shooting Caught On Tape

YG Shooting Recorded By Security Cameras

YG’s shooter has a big problem.

The attempt on the rapper’s life was likely caught by security cameras, according to report by TMZ.

Still the rapper’s assailant has not been identified or captured. YG’s wounds – three bullets – were not life threatening. He is still recovering.

That didn’t stop people like DJ Mustard sending up some prayers.

“The kid str8 but a little prayer ain’t never hurt !!!!,” DJ Mustard wrote.

50 Cent and Tiffany Lighty had some business together on Friday, but ended up making headlines after the daughter of the late Chris Lighty ended up marring the mogul’s expensive Lamborghini.

Luckily, 50 Cent – a millionaire many times over – wasn’t even upset, according to reports.

A car was parked too close to the Lambo and Tiffany attempted to maneuver around it and was unsuccessful. She hit the car and even tore off the passenger side mirror in the collision.

Ice-T’s Grandson Indicted On Death Of Roommate

Elyjah Marrow, the grandson of rapper Ice-T, has been indicted on the shooting death of 19-year-old Daryus Johnson.

Johnson was the roommate of Marrow at the time of his death in June 2014.

Mirror, 20, was arrested for accidentally shooting Johnson in the chest with a stolen gun.

Police discovered Johnson unconscious at a Marietta, Georgia apartment complex. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

“Marrow was not using proper firearms safety when handling the gun,” Officer David Baldwin told The Marietta Daily Journal at the time. “That reckless handling of the firearm is what led to Johnson being accidentally shot and eventually killed.”

Marrow has been indicted on involuntary manslaughter, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of firearm during commission of a felony reckless conduct and other charges.

B.B. King’s Daughters Seek Review of Financial Action

Daughters of late legendary jazz player, B.B. King, has hired an attorney to review his financial actions before his death. According to Complex, there has been allegations that King’s business manager, LaVerne Toney, transferred over a million dollars into her account, denied him proper medication, and had the nerve to even keep friends and family away from King during his final hours.Although the daughters have hired the attorney for the case, King’s attorney Brent Bryson states the allegations made are truly false.
