During a recent interview on CGMofficialTV, 50 spoke on his perception of his former group mates as well as a G-Unit/ Snoop Dogg partnership that never came to fruition.
50 Cent has been quoted as saying “Tony Yayo, Young Buck and Lloyd Banks are all the same person to me” and his sentiment seems to be consistent. During his interview, he took the descriptions a bit further and explained how Buck and Yayo particularly never adapted to true artistic independence:
They’re babies. At different points they throw the tantrums and stuff like that and I just watch them. Just watch them do what they’re doing. It’s not like their responsibilities is gonna change. They’re grown. They’re adults. They behave like babies at points. They have to. They have to do it. It won’t be long before you see some different things from them.

Saigon informed HipHopMyWay that his upcoming album The Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 3: The Troubled Times of Brian Carenard was “the quickest album I ever wrote.” The label will release “Sinner’s Prayer” on April 21st, will serve as the first single for the upcoming album and will have an accompanying music video featuring Papoose and Omar Epps.
Saigon and Squid Inc Squad partnered with global digital media company, CPXi and explains that the move is based on his belief that music will be completely digital in a decade:

Working with a digital powerhouse like CPXi is the missing piece that will allow SIS to unlock the real talent that is struggling to be heard. SIS is what the future of a branded integrated music label will look like. In 10 years music will be all digital and 100% tech driven.”

KRS-One “Big Up New York” is a lost gem that KRS-One recorded in 1995 in the midst of producing tracks for Reggae/Hip-Hop artist Mad Lion. (AllHipHop News) On January 31st of this year, Funkmaster Flex and Cipha Sounds revived the 90s/early 00’s The Tunnel parties at B.B. Kings. Following the event, French Montana, Jadakiss and a few other attendees were arrested and Smoke DZA has come through with part of the story.
Appearing on Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal improv show, DZA explained how what initially began as a show appearance turned into a trip to the precinct. After being arrested for a warrant he was not sure really existed, DZA shares how French Montana maintained his humor even while cramped in the back of a police car:
I had to go in, like, sideways and kind of finesse myself into the back. French [Montana] had to go in the same way. So we’re driving to Central Bookings, back to back. [Laughs] I couldn’t even make this up. We back to back. We driving. They not even taking the lights. Every time we on the road, I see these motherfu*kers going through the lights. So French was like “step on it, mannnn!
