At this point, I get the sense that Meek Mill wants to beef with Kendrick to beat the publicity drum. I don’t know. I could be way off. Kendrick just doesn’t seem to be responding a whole lot. The reason I say this is because just today Meek fired off another shot at Kendrick in a new version of “Levels.”
In the new version, he says:
“These n***a aint f****n with me ,who the f**k is Kendrick Lamar.”
I just don’t understand this thinking, especially considering this seems to be Kendrick’s year.
Now, Kendrick had some stuff to say in the BET Cypher, but from what I heard, that was mostly directed to Drake. I believe AHH will have the video exclusively tomorrow. Stay tuned.

“I used to be as strong as Ripple be/Until Lil’ Cease crippled me”
(AllHipHop News) Back in 1996, while recording his sophomore album Life After Death, the Notorious B.I.G. got into a car accident while Lil Cease was the driver. At Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal last Friday (September 27th), Lil Cease detailed what happened during the infamous accident.
[EXCLUSIVE: Lil Cease Couldn’t Meet Michael Jackson Because Notorious B.I.G Didn’t Trust MJ Around Kids]
According to Lil Cease, the two men had their car repossessed after being arrested for smoking marijuana in public. To the opposition of Cease, Biggie chose a Chevrolet Lumina rental SUV in exchange. Cease reveals that there were complications with the brakes prior to the accident which B.I.G. brushed off:
When we were pulling out the dealership the brakes were f*cked up. Everytime you would hit them you hit the rotors. I crashed into the dealer that got us the car. B.I.G. thought I was high. I told him ‘nah, it’s the brakes.’ He said ‘f*ck it keep going’. We winded up going on the highway down the turnpike and as we were coming down the Turnpike it was raining and the car started sliding. We slid across to the other side of the road. That’s why he hurt his leg.
The UCB performers transformed that story into a hilarious cautionary tale of why not to get in cars with intoxicated drivers.
Cipha Sounds Take It Personal Hip Hop improv show is every Friday at 9pm at UCB Theatre on East 13th St in New York City’s Lower East Sdie. This week’s special guest is New York Giants star wide receiver Victor Cruz.
Tickets are available at the Take It Personal page on East.ucbtheatre.com

So…this is how some fast food employees get down when left to their own devices after hours.
I guess it was a slow night but at least they actually can twerk. Consider this their unofficial audition for the Miley Cyrus Twerk Team.
TMZ Writes:
Paris Hilton just dropped a sample of her new song with Lil Wayne — in which the two gloat about being hammered — and … well, it’s actually not completely terrible.
The song’s called “Good Times” — and it features the following verse from Weezy:
“I’m f**ked up … I can’t tell you what’s what.
All she know is suck, f**k.
I walked up to a big butt, and asked her ass but what …
Tunechi never slacks without her button up.”
As for Paris — the newest artist on Wayne’s Young Money label — she “sings” the expertly written hook … which goes:
“I might be a bit tipsy …
but that’s OK ’cause you’re with me.
Are you having a good time?
cause I’m having a good time.”

(AllHipHop News) Snoop Lion was recently interviewed by A$AP Rocky as apart of Noisey’s Back & Forth series.
In the interview, Snoop discussed the differences between groupies in the 90’s and the 2000’s and the complicated nature of dismissing overzealous male fans:
In 2000’s, you deal with more male than females and they attach on a little harder. It’s kind of hard to be disrespectful because at the same time this is a fan, he loves your music and he follows you. You dont want to just cut him off like ‘you bi*ch as* ni**a. But at the same time, you b*tch a*s n**ga.
One of the most poignant moments of the interview was when Snoop discussed the short-lived rivalry he had with his cousin and Doggpound groupmate Daz Dillinger in the late 90s:
I had to cut out family members before. Me and my cousin Daz fell out before. When me and him fell out it was like ‘how do you fall out with…I taught you everything you know. I put you in the game and you go against me? But that’s what the laws of the game do. It put you in a position where sometimes you have to have these types of situations to see who really supposed to be there.
Check out Part 1 of their interview below:
I am hearing that that Jay Z Raekwon collaboration did happen! Now, I really cannot speak on this much more. BUT, I am hearing that Raekwon has some incredibly dope stuff on DECK in 2014! Some of these moves started in 2013 so he could bust out of 2014 strong.
There is more coming on this…trust me.

But, add Ghostdini in the mix and…boom!

(AllHipHopNews) One of the most name-dropped brands in fashion, Versace, will be revealed in a new Lifetime movie, House of Versace, debuting Oct. 5th on Lifetime.
Based on Wall Street Journal reporter Deborah Ball’s widely-read book “House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival”, the movie brings to light the story of Donatella, who, following the brazen murder of her brother, world-renowned designer Gianni Versace at the height of his success, is suddenly thrust into the spotlight as head designer of his fashion empire.
Following the movie’s premiere, at 10:00pm ET/PT, Lifetime will air the hour-long documentary, “Versace: Beyond the Headlines”, providing an in-depth look at Gianni Versace’s start in the fashion business, his incredible rise in such a competitive industry and ultimate creation of the multi-million dollar fashion empire that lives on after his death. The special will include interviews with people who knew Gianni, fashion designers, as well as a police detective and criminologist who explain their take on his tragic murder in front of his Miami mansion on July 15, 1997.
The Versace brand, and Donatella herself, are iconic in hip-hop culture. Versace is a staple clothing item of rap stars, the apparel of choice by many. Atlanta rap group, Migos, recently released a video for their hit song, “Versace.”
A New Jersey man who mistakenly sent a text message detailing a drug deal to a detective now faces charges reports AP. The sender revealed that he had a quarter pound of marijuana for sale and wanted to meet at a pizza parlor.
Eventually he met with an undercover police officer but fled when after becoming suspicious. Police soon stopped his vehicle, but the 33-year-old dealer refused to consent to his vehicle being searched so they obtained a warrant and police dogs. It didn’t end well. They found four bags of weed and other drug paraphernalia but there’s no reports on what charges the dealer will face.
I’d like to report a major fail. Womp, womp. I mean, was he high himself when he sent that text to the wrong number that was coincidentally the police?
(AllHipHop News) Cam’ron must have heard Drake’s album or at least the outro “Pound Cake” which features a rather candid Jay Z saying he made Cam’ron, among others “millions”. On his first solo mixtape in over 5 years, Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1, Cam’ron replies to Jay Z’s claim.
On the song “Come and Get Me (Jodeci Remix)” Cam’ron admits Jay Z made him millions but claimed it was a mutually beneficial business relationship:
She said Jay made you a millionaire and looked me in the eyes /Said cake, cake, cake got that from the pies /We made each other millions, that was my reply /But had a mill before I met him, baby, that ain’t no lie
After peacefully replying to the claim, Cam’ron later claimed Jay Z noticably did not mention him making any people from his neighborhood of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn millions:
See he named some Harlem cats and the homie from the Chi /But my thing, he ain’t name nobody from the Stuy /And I do it like Bed-Stuy, do or die
This is the first time Jay Z and Cam’ron have mentioned each other in song since their brief back and forth beef from 2006-2007. During the battle Cam’ron accused Jay Z of being jealous of him, among a litany of other accusations.
Check out the song “Come and Get Me (Jodeci Remix)” below:
Rapper Jim Jones was arrested for cruising around high — and allegedly at high speed — this morning in the Bronx.
According to law enforcement sources … NYPD pulled JJ over around 2 AM for speeding on a highway … and when officers approached his Chevy Impala (baller) — they say he had bloodshot eyes and looked out of it.
TMZ was told they put Jones through some field sobriety tests … which he did NOT pass with flying colors.
Sources tell TMZ JJ refused a breathalyzer test back at the police station, and was booked for driving under the influence of drugs. We’re told the drug is believed to be marijuana.
Jones has been busted a few other times in NY and NJ, but still can’t touch DMX’s stats. Nobody does.

K. Michelle had been dating Indiana Pacers player Lance Stephenson for the past few months but it looks like their time in paradise is up. Actually, let’s back track. Rumors were flying that Stephenson had been cheating on her with his baby mama for the past few months and he did what all accused public figures do, took to Twitter and denied it but…
He allegedly posted a photo of himself with his baby mama in the background, in his bed in Instagram (it’s currently not there *raises eyebrow), and K. Michelle’s fans brought it to her attention. Apparently, K. Michelle gave Stephenson the axe because she sure enough took to twitter and Instagram to rant about cheaters and being single and such. Peep game:
Y’all know that song is coming out int 5, 4, 3, 2…
The word on the street is that DJ Just Blaze, the dude that is known for some of the illest, hard hitting beats in Hip-Hop history is now making his cake mostly from being a house music DJ. Now, Just is from NJ if my memory serves me correctly so this may not be so strange. And then he had a role in that crazy “Harlem Shake” song. Now, Bauer the creator of that song says they made no money off of it. BUT, I have reason to believe that they did set off a career of touring the world making crazy, big bucks! Just Blaze, I hear, has also been making crazy cake in the video game world. Good for him.
By the way, when I say “House Music” I just mean that dance stuff….its called a lot of things these days…I dunno, rave music, club music and stuff… LOL!!! Who cares!

(AllHipHop News) Two things have always been true about Game (formerly The Game) since his 2005 debut album The Documentary: He’s not afraid to name drop and he has a complicated relationship with 50 Cent. Last night (October 1st) Game appeared on Larry King Now and spoke on his relationship with 50 Cent in 2013 and his opinion on Dr. Dre’s now mythical Detox album.
According to Game, he has not seen 50 Cent since 2005, around the time Game and his entourage got into a shootout with G-Unit affiliates outside of a Hot 97 while 50 Cent was dropping Game from G-Unit in an on-air interview:
Um, it’s, I haven’t seen him in about eight years. It was a rift. We had a shoot-out, in New York, in front of a radio station, [guns], yeah, it was a little bit more than a rift. [Why?] Egos. Young and dumb, being ignorant, who knows? [Who drew first?] Um, the Game. Yeah. Nah, no charges.
Game also revealed that with Jesus Piece, he has fulfilled his contractual obligations to Interscope Records and is currently taking meetings with other labels.
When asked by Larry King about the status of his mentor Dr. Dre’s continuously delayed album Detox, Game compares it to another mythical figure:
Dre’s album is sort of like the Jesus of music. We just waiting on it to come back.
Check out the videos of Game speaking on his relationship with 50 Cent, how he first signed to Aftermath and more:
Jim Jones was busted speeding…and he was lit up too, says TMZ. According to police, the Capo was pulled over in a Chevy Impala at around 2 AM for speeding on the highway. Reports say he had bloodshot eyes and he looked out of it, so authorities gave him sobriety tests, which he failed.
But y’all know Jim Jones doesn’t do well with authority figures so of course, he made the situation worse for himself by refusing to take a breathalyzer test before just giving in. He was eventually booked for driving under the influence of what’s believed to be weed.
Chrissy is probably p#####.

“What you rappers could get is a job from me”-Kanye West
(AllHipHop News) Who said video producers can’t beef like rappers? This past Saturday (September 29th), former Next Media Animation employee Marina V. Shifrin used Kanye West’s “Gone” song in a video that effectively(and creatively) told her boss that she quit.
Citing a focus on quantity of views over quality of videos, Shifrin recorded “an interpretive dance” video voicing her complaints using the Late Registration track. Here is the video description wherein she details her reasoning for quitting:
I work for an awesome company that makes news videos. I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets.
I believe it’s more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come. Here is a little video I made explaining my feelings.
As of today (October 2nd) Shifrin’s video has recieved over 8.5 million YouTube views.
However, three days later Shifrin’s old job responded in kind with an interpretive dance video of their own set to the same Kanye West song. In the jocular video, the Next Media Animation employees detail the benefits of working at the job (including a rooftop sauna and pool).
No word if Kanye West, Def Jam or G.O.O.D. Music will take legal action on the use of the Kanye West song
Check out Marina V Shifrin quit her job to Kanye West’s “Gone” and then follow that by watching Next Media Animation’s response below:
