Hip-Hop Rumors: No More Twerking For Miley

See how they do? Take a bite and leave the rest! Miley Cyrus brought the twerk game to Middle America, used it up and now she is reportedly through with it. In a recent interview for Rolling Stone, she says she is over it. “Now people expect me to come out and twerk with my tongue out all the time. I’ll probably never do that s### again.” I’m from one of the wealthiest counties in America. I know what I am, But I also know what I like to listen to. Look at any 20 year old white girl right now, thats what they’re listening to at the club. Its 2013. The gays are getting married. We’re all collaborating. I would never think about the color of my dancers. Times are changing. I there’s a generation or two left, and then it’s gonna be a whole new world.” This is a blessing but very typical from a cultural vantage point!

50 Cent Says He's Not Homophobic; Offers Support To Transgender Teen

(AllHipHop News) After Hot 97 DJ Mr. Cee’s public announcement last month that he has engaged in sexual acts with transsexuals, the topic of homosexuality and gender identity became a major topic in the rap community. One fellow Hip Hop star has decided to help one transsexual teen with the new Sundance Channel six-part unscripted show Dream School.

50 Cent is an executive producer of the show that recruits celebrities to provide guidance to teenagers who have either been expelled or have dropped out of school. The “In Da Club” rapper is giving his full backing to one of the featured students, a transgender boy named Alan. During his episode, Alan, born female, shares his ordeals of being bullied in school and his own mother not visiting him while he was hospitalized.

While 50 has been accused of being insensitive to the LGBT community in the past, the mogul says that he never had any issues with gay and transgender people.

“I don’t have homophobia. I never did,” 50 told The Wrap.

The Queens emcee goes on to explain why some of his past lyrics like “you that f****t ass n***a trying to pull me back” were not evidence that he was homophobic and only reflected the language that he heard in his environment.

“I would use the terminology that would be going around,” said 50. “You’ve got people that would call some people a redneck, or some people n***a. It’s the term of that time or that period. They’re not necessarily racist, but they’ve heard those terms used around them, and they use them.”

50 also points to the fact that he has rapped about his mother, who he calls the most important thing in his life, kissing other women and that shows he does not have any problems with homosexuality.

Speaking on Dream School, 50 has said, “the importance of Dream School is monumental. Helping to inspire these students to reach their potential is personally gratifying.”

Dream School debuts October 7th at 10 pm on the Sundance Channel.

Fail of the Day: Couple Having Sex on Train Tracks Get Run Over

A woman was killed and her boyfriend’s legs were cut off in an unfortunate episode of “When Spicing it up Goes Horrible Wrong.” The Ukranian couple decided to have sex on some railroad tracks and got hit by a train.

Via the Daily Mirror:

Police said the pair had embarked on their early morning romp after a night out boozing.

The woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene while her 41-year-old lover was taken to hospital with both legs severed.

They had been on their way home from a party at a friend’s house when they hit by amorous, and fatal, desires.

An official said: “The man told police they had failed to overcome their natural passion when walking home… and wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the railroad tracks.”

To make matter worse, officers are considering charging the man for trespassing on the track after the couple’s sex session in the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. In 2008, a couple having sex on train tracks in South Africa were killed by a freight.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil' Scrappy's New Piece Bambi to Join 'Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta'

Remember Bambi, the 6 foot glamazon wannabe rapper who appeared on Basketball Wives LA  (she’s Malaysia Pargo’s bff)? She then made an appearance on Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta as one of Kirk Frost’s jumpoffs (the hot tub scene). These days she’s been gallivanting with Lil’ Scrappy and at the BET Hip-Hop Awards last weekend she alluded to the fact that she may be appearing on the show a lot more frequently.

While on the red carpet she was asked if she’d be joining the cast. She feigned coy and said that we “might” see her a “little bit” more of her. Let’s be real, there’s beef between Bambi and Scrappy’s babymama Erica Dixon (and she doesn’t go quietly) so you know we’re going to see that play out on camera.

I wonder where Momma Dee fits in all of this. Is Bambi her ideal boo for “the Prince?”

Hip-Hop Rumors: DJ Quik Is P##### At Andre 3000! Read Why!

You have to love Twitter! DJ Quik took to Twitter because of something that Andre 3000 said to somebody. Apparently, Three Stacks talked about the health condition of The Quikster, but the Comp-Town rapper/producer isn’t sick at all. He certainly, does not have AIDS!

Personally, I never heard this rumor until Quik mentioned it but I’m also not in the midwest. Here is what Quik said…calling the Outkaster “Andre Badu.” Damn.

But, what would get Andre 3000 into saying this in the first place?

Epic Fail Of The Day: Asian Nicki Minaj Takes A Big Booty Fall

Wow. The Asian Nicki Minaj. I never thought I would live to see this and now, after seeing it, I’m wondering if I want to live anymore. What’s crazier is this chick does look a LOT like Nicki. In fact, if she could mask her accent better, I don’t think people could tell the difference. Anyway, she is taking an L on this day.

Watch her fall on her big butt.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Rev Run To Be GrandDad! Iggy Gone? Keisha Jeezy?

PREGGERS ALERT!

Here is the first bit of stuff for the morning. I say stuff because most of it is truth. But, Vanessa Simmons is apparently with child. Rev. Run is about to be a grandfather! I don’t think they have any other kids with kids. The father is one of the Wayans, Mike, the son of Damon. This is a pair of dynasties coming together. I can only imagine the conversations between Damon and Run. Vanessa told it all with a sonogram image on Instagram saying, “A little princess is one the way.”

KEYKEY AND JEEZY?

Its been so long, I forgot Jeezy and Keyshia Cole used to have a thing. Well, Keyshia’s marriage has apparently been on rocky ground recently. Then, she shows up at a Jeezy parting, prompting the blogworld to suspect she’s trying to get her old thang back. She hasn’t exactly responded, but she’s reportedly not wearing a wedding ring these days so maybe there is hope for a hood wedding.

IGGY GONE?

This remains to be a bit of a rumor. Was Iggy Azalea kicked off the Beyonce tour? Seems like she was given the BOOT off of some of the initial dates. This lead to the speculation that she’s been kicked off the entire tour, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I have my thoughts, but I’m going to leave them to myself. A dude named Stan Walker was given the opportunity to open for B in New Zealand.

“It’s a young man’s game, and a veteran’s survival,” said Nelly about his take on where Hip Hop is at the moment. “I don’t think when we get to be 50 and 60 that we’re gonna stopped listening to rap.”

The “Get Like Me” performer went on to express how he feels critics have been announcing that every new generation of rap stars have brought about the fall of Hip Hop for a long time. “Ten years ago people said rap was the worse that it’s ever been. We fifteen years later, and now they’re saying the same thing.”

“Each generation thinks that there’s is the best,” adds Nelly. “Hip Hop was created by the youth for the youth, but somewhere along the line everybody when they get to be a certain age they want to control it and change the rules. The rules don’t change. It’s gonna always be like that.”

Nelly also talks working with Miley Cyrus, getting endorsement deals, upcoming movies, country music’s supportive fans, his relationships with Irv Gotti and Ashanti, the St. Lunatics, and the Real Husbands of Hollywood BET Hip Hop awards cypher.

Daily Word: Blame It On Obama!

Happy Government Shutdown Tuesday! Welcome to the day that we realize that ego’s and personal agendas are more important than the well being of the American people… but I digress! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to blaming others!
