(AllHipHop News) Rapper Meek Mill was in his hometown of Philadelphia today (July 31), to make an appearance in front of a local judge.

According to Fox 29 News, Meek was in court for a mandatory status hearing, which he must attend every 3 to 6 months, to make sure he is in compliance with the terms of his probation.

The rapper is on probation for a prior drug/gun conviction. According to Fox 29, the judge presiding over the case reprimanded Meek for lyrics on his song “The Ride.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Eve Says Stevie J “Couldn’t Even See This”

If you watch VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta”, you know that Stevie J is one hot mess of a train wreck. He is openly cheating on his baby mama, Mimi, with his hot Latina artist, Joseline Hernandez. The dude also makes a fool out of himself on each and every episode.

It looks like rapper Eve has caught an episode or two of the show, and is thanking her lucky stars that she didn’t stay with Stevie. You see, back in the ’90s, when Stevie was actually known for producing hits, he and Eve were one of the first Hip-Hop couples and were even engaged for a short time.

Well, Eve did a recent interview where she spoke on her relationship with Stevie, and said that the woman she is now is totally different from the girl she was when she with Stevie. She revealed that her ex “couldn’t even see this” right now, and that she is “thankful” they broke up. Check out what Eve revealed below:

On if Stevie J was her first love:
Yes, Stevie J was my first love.

On how she defines the ‘love’ between her and Stevie back then:
You know what…that was a learning experience. You meet people all the time. We just happen to fall in love. Umm, but thankfully I knew better, I know better, I am happily in love now. And the girl now (referring to herself) he couldn’t even see this. I would be like, “I’m sorry, we don’t speak the same language!” But you know, it is what it is….that’s life. Sometimes you meet people who aren’t great for you but thankfully I am in a different place.

On things she would not put up with now that she is older and knows better:
When I was younger I didn’t question things but now I am annoying! Like if something doesn’t feel right speak up! If you feel like you are being lied to speak up! If you feel like Sexually he is trying to push you to fast speak up. And let me tell you something. Anybody that knows your worth it will stick around. They might not talk to you about it, they may talk to you about it but if they argue with you or if they call you a name or if they roll out they are not meant to be in your life anyways….

It sounds like Eve is singing Beyonce’s “Best Thing You Never Had” at the top of her lungs right now. Good for her!

EXCLUSIVE: Tech N9ne Reveals Plans To Collaborate With Nas And Rick Ross On New Album; Responds to “Mainstream” Accusations

(AllHipHop News) With a record-breaking tour to his name and the gold-certification of his 2006 single “Caribou Lou” both occurring in the past month, Strange Music founder Tech N9ne has begun plotting out details for his fourteenth solo studio album, E.B.A.H.

“They say I did All 6’s and 7’s in 28 days, and I want to believe that,” Tech N9ne told AllHipHop.com. “But if you do a song a day, then you’ve got 28 days, and I usually did three songs a day back when I had time. Now I’m writing in the studio, because I can’t write on tour. I’m just going to see what comes out of me in the next 28 days.”

Regarding possible collaborations for his new album, Tech N9ne spoke on an idea he had to record with Rick Ross for a track called “Heaven and Hell”: “I love Rick as a person, and I love what he’s become lyrically, and I don’t give a f*ck what nobody say.

“Hopefully we can make it happen. Same thing with [Eminem]. I’ve got an idea for Em and I’m trying to make it happen and if he thinks I’m good enough to do a song with then it’ll happen.”

Tech N9ne revealed that he has ideas for records with the likes of Roscoe Dash, Nas, Waka Flocka, Marsha Ambrosius, and Talib Kweli brewing in his head as well.

Regarding the accusations that he’s gone “mainstream” and “sold-out” after more high-profile collaborations with Lil Wayne, T-Pain, B.o.B., and Busta Rhymes on his last album, All 6’s and 7’s, he responded, “The mainstream is gonna go Tech, motherf*cker. The real sh*t always shines,” he proclaimed to AllHipHop.com.

“I know I’m not popular enough for everybody and Hip-Hop is a popularity contest,” he conceded. “I’m not going to go above and beyond to be the most popular if my lyrics can’t speak for me.”
