(AllHipHop News) West Coast rapper Xzibit dropped his new album Napalm today (October 9) and the rapper is currently on a nationwide tour in support of the release.
Xzibit took a moment out of his touring schedule to further discuss the release on the day it lands in stores. Xzibit told AllHipHop.com hat he was extremely “proud” of the Napalm, which is his first album in six-years.
Xzibit lined up a variety of top producers for Napalm, which includes beats by Dr. Dre, Akon, David Banner, S1, Focus and Beat Butcher, while rappers like Game, Slim The Mobster, Wiz Khalifa, E-40, Crooked I and others. check in on the album.
“I want people to know most of all that nothing good comes easy,” Xzibit told AllHipHop.com. “This album embodies everything I need to say and get into the light. I’m very proud of this album.”
The title track to Napalm was shot in Afghanistan and Iraq, as Xzibit toured the region with United States Servicemen and women.
It was this experience overseas that inspired Xzibit to begin the process of recording Napalm, which also features the debut material by his son, Tre Capital.
“I’m a solider, so I’ve always considered myself a leader, in West coast Hip-Hop,” Xzibit told AllHipHop.com. “I’m just reppin’ an institution, a lineage with honor. I am humbled by the support of the West.”
Tonight Xzibit will celebrate the release of Napalm at a sold-out concert in San Diego, California.
