The Home Office in the United Kingdom continues to uphold a ban on rapper Snoop Dogg, due to an April 2006 brawl in Heathrow Airport. Snoop is attempting to enter the country to launch a new advertisement for European mobile phone giant Orange. According to reports, executives with Orange wrote to the home in an attempt to obtain a British visa for the Long Beach, California rapper, but officials have denied the request. Snoop’s entourage was in a major brawl with airport security that left seven officers with minor injuries. One officer suffered a fractured hand. In April of 2007, Snoop Dogg was refused entry into Australia, because of his criminal record.
