Drake Denies His Dad’s Claims That His Lyrics Are Fake

Drake insists “every bar” of his lyrics are the truth, even though his dad said he’s faking it.

(AllHipHop News) Drake is doing damage control after comments his dad Dennis Graham made during an interview with Nick Cannon.

Dennis Graham was recently a special guest on Power 106’s Nick Cannon In The Mornings radio show.

Dennis pretty much through Drake under the bus, claiming his superstar rapper son exaggerated lyrics about his absence from Drizzy’s life as a kid.

‘I talk to him if not every day, then every other day. We really got into a deep conversation about that,” Dennis Graham said. “I said, ‘Drake, why are you saying all of this different stuff about me? Man, this is not cool,” said Dennis.

Dennis claims Drake told him simply playing the role of coming from a broken home, so he can sell more records.

Drake has come forward to clear the air, in an attempt to save his reputation.

“Woke up today so hurt man. My father will say anything to anyone that’s willing to listen to him,” Drake said. “It’s sad when family gets like this but what can we really do that’s the people we are stuck with…every bar I ever spit was the truth and the truth is hard for some people to accept.”
