(AllHipHop News) When Kid Cudi called out his former mentor Kanye West on Twitter, the G.O.O.D. Music boss fired back during his tour. “I birthed you,” proclaimed Ye.
The Life Of Pablo album creator has changed his tune about Cudi. Kanye took time to show love to the Cleveland rhymer at his Houston stop.
“He’s the most important artist of the past ten years, most influential. And I hope he’s doing well,” said Kanye. “Kid Cudi is my brother.”
Before their recent fallout, Cudi and Kanye worked very closely together on different musical projects.
West’s 808s & Heartbreak was co-written by Kid Cudi, and many observers credit the album as inspiring the popular singer-rappers dominating the Hip Hop market today.
