(AllHipHop News) A number of different rappers celebrated Christmas in a variety of different ways today (December 25).
Fabolous delivered his fans a holiday gift with the release of There Is No Competition III: Death Comes In 3’s, his new “Gangsta Grillz” collaborative mixtape with Philly/Atlanta’s, DJ Drama.
The TINC III mixtape features a number of high profile appearances from artists like Jadakiss and Styles P., Meek Mill, Trey Songz, Red Cafe and Paul Cain.
Styles P., who is featured on the track “B.E.T,” on Fab’s new release, also dropped a new song titled “Gift Wrapped” today.
Philly rapper Young Chris dropped an eight track EP rtitled Young Christmas, while, Houston rapper Slim Thug dropped a new album titled Houston</a.
Curren$y celebrated a successful 2011 by splurging on his mother.
The rapper purchased a brand new Mercedes-Benz truck for his mom, wrapped in a bow.
Kanye West took to Twitter, where he reminded his 5,571,949 followers not to forget the island of Haiti, where over 300,000 people were killed during an earthquake in January of 2011.
“Even though Haiti isn’t in the news as much the issues are still there. Little has changed,” Kanye West tweeted. “People are still suffering. Many Haitians fled as refugess to the Dominican Republic in despiration to help there families back in Port Au Prince. This only compounded the suffering. As we count our blessings, let us not forget the on going struggles of the people of Hispaniola.”
Kanye, who was in Los Angeles on Christmas day, then wished his fans Merry Christmas and reminisced over the past year.
“Merry Christmas : ) It’s been an amazing year,” Kanye added. “The time last year we were prepping the artwork for H.A.M…”
Rapper/actor LL Cool J offered his fans some words of encouragement during the holiday.
“Some of you out there aren’t having the Christmas you would want,” LL tweeted. “Be strong keep your head up & Don’t lose faith! You can do it!”
Ice-T and his wife Coco celebrated the Christmas holiday from Hawaii.
