St. Kitts Court Opens Early For 50 Cent After Profanity Laced Performance

COURT OPENS EARLY…FOR 50 CENT!

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent received a different kind of star treatment when he appeared in a St. Kitts court, to face a judge for using profanity on the stage during a performance over the weekend.

50 Cent was performing in front of 40,000 people during The St. Kitts Music Festival.

Apparently, Fif didn’t get the memo that using profanity on stage was an illegal act and had not prepared for a censored set.

So, he proceeded to give the fans the explicit versions of songs in his catalog. The rapper was arrested for using indecent language in public while his bodyguard cuffed for the same charge, as well as obstruction of justice.

Both men were arrested and released on $5,000 (EC), which is about $1,852 U.S. dollars.

In an unusual move, the Basseterre Magistrate court which is normally closed on the weekend, opened at noon on Sunday for 50 Cent.

According to reports, 50 was in a rush to get back to Los Angeles so he could attend the BET Awards and the court system accommodated his request.

50, born Curtis Jackson, and his bodyguard pleaded guilty to using indecent language and paid a fine which totaled about $1,111 in U.S. currency.

The obstruction charge against the bodyguard were dismissed. 50 is already making fun of the incident on Instagram:
