(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop band The Roots have announced that they are re-launching their annual Jam Session this year in Los Angeles.
The Roots’ annual Jam Session has historically taken place on the night before the Grammy Awards.
Last year, however, the group skipped a year, as they prepared for their high profile gig as house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
This year’s annual jam is being sponsored by The Vibe Lifestyle Network in addition to the Green Music Group, which is a coalition of artists and musicians dedicated to protecting the environment.
Past performers at the annual Jam Sessions have included Snoop Dogg, Queen Latifah, Travis Barker, Fall Out Boy, Seal, Matisyahu and others.
The sixth annual Roots Jam Session takes place January 30th. The event is closed to the public and invite-only.
