(AllHipHop News) The plot surrounding a rare Wu-Tang Clan album has taken another twist.

The State of New York just filed legal documents laying claim to the only copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.

The State of New York argues disgraced “Pharma bro” Martin Shkreli owes them $1.6 million in back taxes that are due immediately.

Shkreli was sentenced to seven years in prison years for securities fraud after he took money from a company called Retrophin Inc to pay off his other debts.

In addition to the prison sentence, which he is appealing, Martin Shkreli was ordered to hand over $7.36 million in assets.

The State of New York is asking a judge to grant them ownership of the Wu album, as well as an unreleased copy of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V and other assets Martin Shkreli owned including a Picasso painting.

The State of New York would auction off the albums and the art in order to satisfy Shkreli’s massive tax bill.
