(AllHipHop News) This week both social media and traditional media have been full of stories about Bruce Jenner’s transition to becoming Caitlyn Jenner. Instead of following the trend, record producer Timbaland posted a highly circulated meme featuring an image from the Eddie Murphy movie Coming To America. The picture included the words, “His momma named him Bruce. Imma call him Bruce.”
Tim was then accused of being transphobic and insensitive toward Jenner. The creator of hit records such as “One In A Million,” “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” “Cry Me A River,” and “Holy Grail” jumped on Twitter to defend his use of the meme and to call out the media for focusing on his post.
