Tory Lanez Says His New Album Won’t Have Any Samples, Remakes Or Remixes

THE CANADIAN RAPPER-SINGER IS COMING BACK WITH ORIGINAL SINGLES

(AllHipHop News) Tory Lanez established himself as one of the hottest young artists to emerge over the last few years by using 90’s era samples (“Say It”) and remixing other artists’ hits (“Controlla”).

The rapper-singer plans to change his tune for his next LP.

“Enjoy the remixes and freestyles now. … cuz the album has no samples/ Remakes / or remixes… And all my singles are ORIGINAL this time around,” wrote Lanez on Instagram.

The 24-year-old Toronto native dropped his debut studio album, I Told You, in 2016.

Some fans are hoping to see a collaboration with Tory and his former rival Drake on the follow-up project.

The two Canadians publicly ended their years-long feud in March.

Enjoy the remixes and freestyles now. … cuz the album has no samples/ Remakes / or remixes… And all my singles are ORIGINAL this time around .
