A routine traffic stop provided
more than a line up of vehicles for police in Arkansas, who arrested Wu-Tang Clan
affiliates Ronald “Mathematics” Bean and Patrick “Streetlife”
Charles.
The pair, along with six other men
were arrested Monday (Nov. 9) night on suspicion of drug possession with intent
to sell, TMZ.com reports. A police report detailing the incident noted how
officers on the scene “could immediately smell the odor of burnt marijuana
coming from the interior of the bus” after opening the door to the tour
bus the group was traveling in.
Authorities claim to have noticed “marijuana
blunts” as well as “residue” on the bus that “were
laying in plain sight.” In addition, officers stated they found 110
ecstasy tablets hidden inside a can and $8615 in cash. Although Streetlife,
Mathematics and the others were arrested, the driver of the tour bus was released
with a speeding citation.
