Game Releases “OKE” Mixtape Featuring Diddy, Lil Wayne, Juicy J + More

Game may be a free agent but that is not stopping his productivity. Today (October 9th) Game releases 19 new tracks on his mixtape O.K.E. (Operation Kill Everything).

The mixtape features songs with past collaborators (Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Nipsey Hussle) as well as new cohorts (Schoolboy Q, Juicy J, Fred the Godson). One song in particular is the Chris Brown and Lil Wayne-assited “F.I.V.E.”. The title draws from the original title of his Jesus Piece album, F.I.V.E. Exclusive Interview: RZA Talks, Rock The Bells, ODB Hologram And 20 Years Of Wu Tang!

The first ever Bedrocktoberfest presented by The L.A. Weekly went down on October 5 out in the city of Echo Park in Los Angeles and the main attraction of the night was none other than Bobby Digital himself, The RZA!

Backed by a live band, RZA rocked the stage for almost two hours taking fans through a journey that included classic Wu-Tang favorites, solo jams and yes even Gravediggaz cuts! The set also included a nice tribute to his friend and fallen bandmate, ODB, as RZA performed “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” to a frenzied crowd.

AllHipHop.com was on hand to get some pics and video of this memorable night and we caught up with RZA afterwards to get a few words, in which he gave us the inside information at what really happened at Rock the Bells in San Bernardino where the group experienced difficulties and delays. Check it all out below!

Interview by Tim Sanchez (@tim_sanchez) / Pics and Video by Michael Marshall (@IamHBY) and Tim Sanchez

AllHipHop.com: 20 years of the Wu-Tang Clan! Did you ever think it would get this far when you guys first started the group?

RZA: That’s beautiful right there but we’ve always said it was Wu-Tang Forever, so we’ve got more time to go. As an MC, Producer and Performer, I feel good about it. I took it to the 36 Chambers on the first album. People got a lot of our chambers but they didn’t get all of our chambers. Now you see me doing film which is another chamber as well, and I’ve got more coming because I’m in that chamber right now.

AllHipHop.com: I saw the group perform at Rock the Bells in San Bernardino and there were some difficulties that night. What exactly went wrong?

RZA: Do you want to hear the true facts of what happened? Here’s the truth; Allah Mathematics computer blew out on him on stage. I know they blamed it on whatever, no, his computer blew out. He just came off tour from Europe – about 20 dates – and his was a few dates past that (laughs). Nobody knows that though but that’s what really happened and that’s why it took a long time to show the video. Method was like, “What the f*ck?”

AllHipHop.com: Yeah, Method Man did a lot of improvising at that point.

RZA: I was getting ready to do one (freestyle) too!

AllHipHop.com: I was really hoping that you guys were going to get to display the ODB hologram for all of the New Yorkers. What are your thoughts on the cancellation of the East Coast shows?

RZA: That part I don’t know. That was just a phone call to me. All I know is that for New York and DC, my ticket was booked. I guess the currency wasn’t balancing. Cash rules – the sh*t has to balance. I don’t know how much Chang (of Guerilla Union) was spending for everything. That’s the side that a lot of fans don’t understand – it takes money to put on these shows and it all has to come back.

AllHipHop.com: What were your personal thoughts on the ODB hologram?

RZA: Personally, I thought it was part of entertainment. If someone is paying for a ticket, they are paying to see entertainment, so I thought it was cool to see his hologram. Everybody dug it – the whole crew. Nobody in the crew said anything against it. They all loved it too.

Hip-Hop Rumors: The Game Executes Khloe Kardashian Rumors!

There were some real rumors that The Game was trying to jump Khloe Kardashian’s bones as soon as she divorces Lamar Odom. She’s supposedly not going to divorce him though, because she’s scared he may kill himself. I don’t keep up with this fiasco. ANYWAY, The Game has decimated the rumors that he’s trying to get with KK.

The Game told TMZ by way of The Daily Mail:

‘Khloe is my friend,’ he added. ‘She is like a sister. We have never and will never be sleeping together. Lamar [Odom] is my homie and her husband and I wish people wouldn’t spread such false rumors.’ The reality show star has been dogged by recent reports that her three year marriage to Lamar is failing. On Wednesday, Khloe took to her Twitter page seemingly to address the gossip.

I know The Game is playing the game. He knows the media well and how it works. I never wrote this rumor, but I could see this one a mile away. Game was fighting the paps for Khloe the other day. Hmmmmmm….

“They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!” -illseed.

While the sequel did not manage to push the same numbers as the first edition, The 20/20 Experience part one did sell another 18,371 units over the last week. That is a 48% increase from the week before. The album has already sold over 2.2 million copies in the United States.

Gone Fishing: Woman Impersonates Bow Wow on MTV’s Catfish, He Responds (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) While Pusha T is promoting My Name Is My Name, a woman was not following such a mantra on last night’s Catfish on MTV. On last night’s episode of the reality show, a woman, deceptively claiming to be Bow Wow, was revealed to have engaged in a duplicitous online relationship with another woman.

Keyonnah, the 19 year old young woman who was duped, began engaging in the relationship after she sent a message to a Bow Wow Facebook fanpage and had the gesture reciprocated. The online relationship lasted for four months and included the faux Bow Wow sending Keyonnah $10,000. The impersonator was eventually revealed to be a female rapper who goes by the name “Dee Pimpin'”:

Bow Wow responded to the episode and saw it as a source of honor and free publicity:

I feel honored. It’s dope and it’s flattering when someone wants to be you. Not only do they want to be you, in their mind they are you. It’s crazy, but I like it. It’s free promo for myself, for BET, for “106 & Park.” Quite frankly, I would actually like to meet them both. So here’s a message out to the girl who got Catfished and to the person who was pretending to be me…I am opening the door here at my house and I’m inviting you to come to “106 & Park” to sit down so I can ask you two some questions.

Pusha T Hints That Kanye & Pharrell Want To Produce Full Clipse Album

(AllHipHop News) Pusha T just released his debut solo album My Name Is My Name, but one of half of the Clipse rap group (along with his brother No Malice) took time to hint at a possible future project. While speaking with Peter Rosenberg & Cipha Sounds during their Juan Epstein podcast, Push said that superproducers Kanye West and Pharrell Williams have suggested taking on the task of producing an entire Clipse album together.

“I don’t even wanna bring this conversation up any further than this statement, but they both are like, ‘Yo, we just need to do the whole Clipse album. Both of us. And that’s it’,” said Pusha.

Pusha has a long history working with both West and Williams. The 36-year-old rapper is currently signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label and several tracks from MNIMN were produced by West. Pharrell also contributed production to the album.

Pharrell played a significant role in the introduction of Clipse to a nationwide audience. He and fellow Neptune beatmaker Chad Hugo produced the Pusha T and No Malice’s albums Lord Willin’ and Hell Hath No Fury.

While Ye and P seem to be interested in contributing to the first Clipse album since 2009’s Til The Casket Drops, the only question remains is if No Malice is willingly to go another round. Back in June, the older sibling told Vibe, “We’ve always supported each other in everything that we’ve done. Right now, we’re doing two different things.”

RZA Reveals He Gave Drake “Wu-Tang Forever” Vocal For Free

(AllHipHop News) When Drake released his Nothing Was The Same track “Wu-Tang Forever” there was significant criticism from Wu fans and others that the song does not properly represent the legendary group.

Several Wu affiliates have come out in support of Drake’s homage and there have been reports that a remix featuring some of the Clan is on the way. Now resident Wu producer RZA reveals that he actually played an important role in “Wu-tang Forever” being finalized.

[ALSO CHECK OUT: Drake “Wu-Tang Forever”]

“[Drake] sent me [the] song because they couldn’t clear the sample. So I did it myself, personally, for free. Free of charge,” RZA told Rolling Stone.

The 4th track on Drake’s third album was inspired by Wu-Tang Clan’s “It’s Yourz” off the New York rap collective’s 1997 double album Wu-Tang Forever.

“To me, that’s what we meant when we said ‘Wu-Tang is forever.’ We didn’t think we were going to live forever. We meant that the energy of what we do would spread on in culture, generation by generation,” added RZA. “By Drake absorbing it and having that influence in his life and having it be a part of him, it proves what I’m saying.”
