Mr. Cee Talks Getting Therapy, Possibly Admitting To Being Bisexual One Day + More

(AllHipHop News) If there is one positive thing Mr. Cee has gained from this week’s controversy is multiple forums to freely express his plight. In a recent interview with XXL, the legendary Hot 97 DJ talks extensively about his decision to resign, his sexuality, if he will ever engage in sexual acts with men again and much more.

According to Cee, he recently had a case of his dismissed which involved allegations of him soliciting sex from an undercover police officer but is not sure if the leaked video is related to that decision.

Mr. Cee addressed his sexuality and reiterated his stance that due to the fact he was never penetrated or penetrated another man he does not consider himself a homosexual. However, he did leave the possibility open for therapy to help him come to a deeper realization about his sexuality:

I’m going to go to therapy and trying to deal with that side of it, recognizing who I really am. Maybe I can go to therapy and try to move forward with this and actually one day say that, ”Yes, I’m actually a bisexual man.” ’Cause I do love women too. I have my experiences with women.

Cee admits that he has been soliciting prostitutes for over five years and that he plans on discontinuing this practice in order to better understand himself and to not put Hot 97 in danger of bad publicity. While Cee will stop soliciting prostitutes he does not know if he plans on discontinuing having sexual relations with men:

I feel that I need therapy to come to the realization of who I am as a person. Will I ever engage in sexual activity with a man ever again? I can’t really say if I would or if I wouldn’t. Have I been involved within recent months? I have not. I’m still dealing, and I’m still finding my way through whole thing.

The full interview can be viewed at XXL’s website and includes Mr. Cee discussing the fake Twitter account made in his name, the ramifications this incident has on his family and more.

Pusha T: Yeah I Listened To Lil Wayne New Mixtape. It's Trash.

(AllHipHop News) That sure was quick. Three days after Pusha T told Fuse his inflammatory tweet was not about Lil Wayne, the Virginia rhyme spitter seemingly retracts that state on DJ Envy’s Thursday Night Live.

In the interview, Pusha says he has heard Dedication 5 and had a one word review of the mixtape, “Trash.” The G.O.O.D. Music “hot head” could not put his finger on the reason as to why Wayne “lost it”:

I don’t know man. In being fair too, Carter II Wayne is mean. In being fair, I wouldn’t want to blame it on something like drugs or lack there of drugs. I don’t know because I don’t want to feel like people just fall from grace like that but…..trash.

Pusha also shed insight on the recording process of Yeezus and why the album abandoned traditional Hip Hop models:

What people dont know is his whole objective at the time was to not be mentioned in the same breath as any other rapper. He was liek ‘I dont want to be in the company of any rappers.’ Then it went from there to ‘for real, at the end of the day, I’m off of this radio format too. I’m off of all of that. You couldnt say the words “single” or “radio” or “radio record” in the studio during [Yeezus recording session].

Charlamagne Tha God Talks Mr. Cee Controversy, Says Gucci Mane Scary Because He Killed Before

(AllHipHop News) Give a verbose personality like Charlamagne Tha God a forum to speak to the masses and you will get entertainment. Charlamagne Tha God participated in Reddit’s Ask Me Anything series and fielded a variety of questions from fans.

When asked if Gucci Mane was as scary as his public perception suggests, the Power 105 host had no qualms in expressing his genuine fear of Gucci:

Gucci is scary because he’s killed someone before I don’t know about you but murderers scare me.

He also took time out to denouce the message expressed in Kanye West’s Yeezus track “New Slaves”. According to the veteran radio personality, the term “new slaves” is incorrect as people of today have more choices than slaves in the 19th century:

First of all I hate the song “New Slaves” because their is no such thing as a “New Slave” Slaves in the 1800′s didn’t get the opportunity to make millions of dollars off their talent. In fact slaves didn’t have a choice of wanted they wanted to do they were forced to work in those fields. If you don’t like being a part of corporate america and you feel like you are a quote on quote “Slave” QUIT. Find something else to do.

When the questions finally got around to the elephant in the chat room, Charlamagne was surprisingly diplomatic in his analysis of rival radio station Hot 97’s Mr. Cee’s recent admission of sex with cross dressing men:

What announcement? I think it’s interesting and opens up another conversation about what is homosexuality? Are you gay if you get head from men repeatedly? Because he doesn’t identify as gay. It’s interesting.

Danny Brown Fans Start A Petition To Allow Rapper Into Canada

(AllHipHop News) Danny Brown had to cancel two recent shows in Canada after he was denied entry into the country. Some of his fans have started a petition on activism.com to get the Detroit rapper permission to enter the country for future shows The creators of the petition accuse the Canadian government of “fighting a war on the arts” and suggest race may play a factor in the situation.

The petition reads in part:

This is a petition to the Canadian Customs/Government to allow Danny Brown, culturally-significant hip-hop artist from Detroit, MI into the country to perform. He has been denied entry both before AND after filing AND PAYING FOR all necessary paperwork for such.

Danny Brown is of significant cultural importance within the music community, and has many, many fans of his work in this country. He is not a significant threat to the security of our nation, and i feel that his entry denial is unfair, biased, and potentially racially motivated.

Brown was heading out with Action Bronson for the “2 High To Die Tour,” but only Bronson was able to make the Edmonton, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia stops. According to Hip Hop Canada, Brown, along with A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q and Hopsin, were denied entry into the country last year as well.

Pitchfork is reporting that representatives for Brown are working to see that the “ODB” performer is able to make his upcoming October dates in Toronto and Montreal.

French Montana Says Gucci Tweet About Deb Antney Was True

(AllHipHop News) The question of whether Gucci Mane’s series of tweets early this week blasting numerous people in the industry were actually sent by the Atlanta rapper or a hacker has been answered by one of the people who had first knowledge to at least one of Gucci’s claims. French Montana says whoever wrote those messages had to have been closely associated with Gucci because the one mentioning him was accurate.

During his epic twitter rant, Gucci made references to French’s former manager Deb Antney and $60,000 worth advance money being exchanged. According to French, he was one of the few people that was present when that situation took place.

French told MTV:

Whoever writing that, they gotta be real close to him, cause the situation that he was talking about with me, he wasn’t lying. I was there with Deb. I don’t know how much money he gave her, but it was money involved… That situation he was talking about on Twitter I can say that’s real.

Gucci’s account tweeted, “60 k. French montana. Was. Laying in deb bed. Ask. Warner. 60 k advance I took as insult gave to your aunt t. Im rich b####.” His entire twitter account has since been deleted.

American Jihadist Rapper Reportedly Killed In Somalia

(AllHipHop News) Islamic jihadist Omar Hammami aka Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki aka “The American” was reportedly killed by the extremist group al-Shabab yesterday (9/12) in Somalia. Hammami had been on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorist List since 2012 and had a $5 million dollar bounty on his head from the U.S. government.

He became well-known because of his posts on Twitter and videos on YouTube featuring rap songs like “Send Me a Cruise (Missile)” and “Make Jihad With Me”. His presence online had become an effective recruiting tool for terrorist organizations.

Hammami left his upper-middle class family in Daphne, Alabama to join al-Shabab about 7 years ago. Apparently, the 29-year-old had a fallen out with the group’s leader Mukhtar Abu Zubeyr over the lavish way the top members of al-Shabab had been living at the expense of Somali residents and from tension between foreign and native-born fighters. Hammami began expressing his frustrations on social media which put a target on his back from al-Shabab.

Members of al-Shabab claimed to have ambushed Hammami on Thursday in southern Somalia. Hammami expressed he feared for his life for over a year, and had been reported to have been killed several times. Experts on al-Shabab believe the latest announcement is accurate despite the fact the group did not provide any proof of his death.

Hammami’s father, Shafik Hammami told ABC News, “If he indeed died, he died fighting for his principles, whatever they are.”

50 Cent: Kendrick Lamar Told Me His New Music Is Better Than His Competition

(AllHipHop News) As aggressive an MC 50 Cent is he is equally if not more so willfully loquacious about information. 50 Cent was on Funkmaster Flex’s show on Hot 97 last night (September 12th) and took time to expel all his thoughts on Hip Hop current events.

Kendrick Lamar told Big Boy from Power 106 LA that he spoke with “the ACTUAL kings of New York” but kept the conversation details slim. 50 let the public in on his conversation with Kendrick following the controversy of his “Control” verse:

When I talked to him he said ;the records I just made are better than the last records that are out. What I’m saying on the record is if they don’t get better they ain’t going to make it past my next album’.

50 also claims he was not impressed by the responses to Kendrick’s “Control” verse because he claims people were waiting for him or Jay Z to respond.

50 says if he was in Big Sean’s position, he would have changed his verse as to not be forgotten on his own song:

“I wouldve changed my verse. It’s Big Sean’s record and nobody knows.”

50 talks about his relationship with Nas (and Nas’ missed business moves), how Steve Stoute told him to not “sign with that white boy” before the Shady Records deal in 2002.
