Word is that Teddy Riley is not-so quietly putting together a new group called “Guy 2.0.” Yes, you read that right and nobody is sure about this. A whole new version of GUY? And before you ask… no, Aaron Hall. And no Damion Hall.

The people have spoken and the do not want this. But, does Teddy have a choice in this?
Some folks are saying Teddy wants a clean, drama-free reboot! I am sure he also wants some younger guys, fresher energy and a modern version of the New Jack Classic! GUY is like Old Jack City! I am kidding, but you know what I mean. They are also saying Aaron Hall might be too “hot” to touch right now because of his legal situations hovering in the background.
Nobody’s confirmed anything, but insiders are hinting that Teddy is staying far, far away from anything that could complicate his rise. Remember, last year he was in Pharrell’s Piece By Piece. “It’s protection.” There is some bad energy out there right now.

Just… silence. Mostly. Damion said something like, “There can only be one Guy.” That’s about it.
People close to the situation say Teddy wants Guy 2.0 to move, tour and hit the road heavy. I don’t think he wants anything to stop that motion. Teddy might not want to gamble the entire comeback with that ol’ BS!
