With “Straight Outta Compton” in Theaters today, F. Gary Gray, Ice Cube & the Cast of the Film stopped by DJ Whoo Kid’s show last weekend. F. Gary Gray speaks on turning down the role of directing “Captain America” to see this film out. They also speak on the challenges the film brought out, and if there were any wrong depictions everyone would’ve pulled out.
Ice Cube’s son O’Shea also says he’s heard the stories from back in the day, so this was an easy role to play as his father. The best part of the whole interview, Jason Mitchell’s spot on impersonation of Eazy E!
