Up and coming funk and R&B artist Andy Allo teams up with Guitar Center for their new video series called Guitar Center Sessions.  In an exclusive performance of her song, “If I Were A King,” Guitar Center Sessions showcases Andy’s exclusive live performance captured in hi-definition at Guitar Center’s famous Hollywood, CA location.

Each episode of Guitar Center Sessions also features intimate interviews conducted by renowned music journalist and taste maker Nic Harcourt, offering a rare behind the scenes view into the storied careers of music icons and the inspirations behind their music.  Fans who dig it can check the full episode of Guitar Center Sessions set to premiere Friday, Feb 22nd at 9 pm on DIRECTV’s Audience Network (Channel 239).

While Andy Allo has widely been regarded as Prince’s protegé, after a sold out show in L.A. and a successful run with her debut effort Superconductor, Andy Allo has gotten her own nod from some of the music industry’s most respected of critics.  Jamming out with a live horns section, solid in the pocket bass and steadfast drums, viewers can see Andy conduct her live band at the highest of qualities via the Guitar Center Sessions.
