EXCLUSIVE: Cormega Returns With New Single "Industry" Prod. By Large Professor (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Queens, New York’s own Cormega is set to return with the brand new album Mega Philosophy produced by Large Professor. After surprising his fans with the Raekwon assisted track “Honorable” earlier this year, Mega is back with his latest single “Industry.”

“I wanted to put a mirror on the industry so it can see itself,” Cormega tells “I played it for an executive who is shady. He turned red and said he doesn’t like it, so I knew I had a nice revealing song.”

The accompanying artwork for “Industry” is an homage to legendary Hip Hop stars who have passed away. Visual artist Ibrahim Sincere created the cover that depicts 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun and other late figures of the culture at The Last Supper.

“I worked extremely close with [Sincere]. It was my idea and my concept but his talent brought my vision to life,” adds Mega.

“Industry” will be available for digital purchase on Tuesday, May 20th. Only 500 copies of a Limited Edition transparent red colored 7″ vinyl of “Honorable” will also be available. Each vinyl comes in a clear Deluxe Heavyweight PVC 7″ Disc Sleeve.

Cormega’s Mega Philosophy is scheduled for release this summer via Aura/Slimstyle Records and Red Line Music Distribution.

MY favorite artist of all time, Mega’s one of the realest in this, this albums gonna be a monster, Large Pro is one of the most underrated producers of all time too, his name should be brought up in the same convos as Preemo, Dilla and Dre.

  • deanharris

Everyone knows the industry is evil, Comega and Large P need to holla at Nas and Jay to make a power move. Telling satan he’s satan is pointless

  • janne

Have to be honest tho, I wasn’t expecting any thing more than a boring “comeback track”. But this is fücking awsome.
