“I wanted to put a mirror on the industry so it can see itself,” Cormega tells AllHipHop.com “I played it for an executive who is shady. He turned red and said he doesn’t like it, so I knew I had a nice revealing song.”

The accompanying artwork for “Industry” is an homage to legendary Hip Hop stars who have passed away. Visual artist Ibrahim Sincere created the cover that depicts 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun and other late figures of the culture at The Last Supper.

“I worked extremely close with [Sincere]. It was my idea and my concept but his talent brought my vision to life,” adds Mega.

“Industry” will be available for digital purchase on Tuesday, May 20th. Only 500 copies of a Limited Edition transparent red colored 7″ vinyl of “Honorable” will also be available. Each vinyl comes in a clear Deluxe Heavyweight PVC 7″ Disc Sleeve.

Cormega’s Mega Philosophy is scheduled for release this summer via Aura/Slimstyle Records and Red Line Music Distribution.
