(AllHipHop News) Brooklyn emcee Joey Bada$$ joined the protesters in New York City over the unresolved death of Freddie Gray. The 25-year-old Baltimore resident died while in police custody.

The lack of information from the Baltimore police concerning how Gray was killed led to peaceful protests and civil unrest in the city over the last week. Other locations around the country held their own rallies in solidarity with the citizens of Baltimore.

Joey posted photos to his Instagram page of the NYC protests. He captured the pictures “#NYC2Baltimore.” The “Teach Me” rapper held a sign that read, “I am Freddie Gray”
