The operator of a popular hunting ranch in Texas ‘accidentally’ shot and killed his 9-year-old grandson while the pair were hunting together, according to authorities.
According to Investigators, the child’s shooting death happened around 10:00 a.m. during a controlled pheasant release at the 9 Bar Ranch just outside Decatur.
Nine-year-old Callen Little, his parents and grandfather were in a hunting stand. Somehow, Callen left the stand. The grandfather accidentally shot the boy in the chest as the birds were released.
