Taylor caught some backlash for turning Nicki’s complaints about the entertainment industry’s treatment of Black women into a personal critique about her. Today (July 23) Swift returned to Twitter to offer a formal, public apology to Nicki. The Young Money rapper accepted the mea culpa.
