(AllHipHop News) When news first broke that Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan slapped someone at a recent concert in Wisconsin, the original reports claimed Quan’s recation was sparked because a fan was trying to get on stage with him. The “Type of Way” performer now says that was not the case.

“The person that tried to rob me was not one of my fans. My fans are loyal to me,” Quan told TMZ. “I did what anyone else would do if they were being robbed.”
Quan’s explanation is different from what he announced to the crowd that night. In a video, he can be heard telling the audience, “I thought he was trying to shake my hand. This n***a tried to get on stage.”
Rich Homie Quan will join Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy, Tyga, and several other rap stars on the “Under The Influence Of Music Tour.” The trek begins tonight (July 24) in Scranton, Pennsylvania and runs until August 24.
