(AllHipHop News) Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports has added some big-time athletes to its roster over the last year and a half. One of the earliest sports stars to join the Roc was New York Jets player Geno Smith. The 23-year-old quarterback became the management company’s first NFL client in 2013.
Billboard spoke with Smith at the NFL Hall of Fashion event in New York. The Miami native shared one of the advantages of being linked to Hov is that he gets to see shows like Jay Z and Beyoncé’s “On The Run Tour” at Met Life Stadium.
“You can go to any concert you want,” said the Hip Hop, rock, and jazz fan about being signed to Roc Nation.
Smith was then asked if he had the chance to experience partying with Jay. The one time Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week winner made it clear both he and Jigga are about business at the moment.
“I’m usually busy, he’s usually busy,” added Smith. “We got work to do.”
