Many Hip Hop followers were happy to see Andre 3000 and Big Boi back together again, but fans also wanted to know if new music would come out of the tour. Or whether Dre was ready to release his solo album.
In a cover story for Billboard, 3K revealed his LP is probably not going to arrive any time soon. The emcee says he has not even begun working on it.
“I haven’t even started on [it],” stated 3000. “I’ve got to find something I’m excited about.”
Even though it seems Dre is still looking for motivation to begin recording new tracks, he wants the world to know he is not done making music. His rap career is not over yet.
“To be clear, there’s no retirement,” said Andre.
Kast fans lucky enough to have tickets to this weekend’s sold out #ATLast will see a star-studded line-up. 2 Chainz, Janelle Monae, Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino, B.o.B., Bun B, and many more will perform throughout the three days.
