It looks like Hip Hop had a successful night at the Golden Globe Awards tonight. At the prestigious ceremony, Chicago rapper Common and GOOD Music singer John Legend had won the award for “Best Original Song”. The two artists won the award for their song titled “Glory” from the movie Selma. Common went the extra mile during his acceptance speech by paying tribute unarmed black teens. The song beat out several competitive nominations, including Lorde, Lana Del Ray, Patty Smith & Lennay Kay, and Sia & Greg Kurstin.
