Big Sean: "You Can't Talk About Rap Music And Not Mention Lil Wayne" (VIDEO)

THE GOOD MUSIC RAPPER PRAISES THE YOUNG MONEY LEADER

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne has been releasing rap music for over 15 years, and he has been a fixture in pop culture for nearly a decade. According to his “Deep” collaborator Big Sean, Wayne has basically become synonymous with rap.

“You can’t talk about rap music and not mention Lil Wayne,” Sean told AOL Build. “He changed the game.”

The GOOD Music member joins other peers who have praised Wayne’s contributions. Crooked I of Slaughterhouse said Wayne brought lyricism back to the mainstream. Kendrick Lamar referred to Wayne as a “legend” that did a lot for Hip Hop culture, and fellow TDE emcee Ab-Soul listed Wayne among his top five rappers of all time.
