(AllHipHop News) Timbaland created quite a stir when he told a crowd at the SXSW Festival that deceased singer Aaliyah spoke to him in a dream and said his new protégé Tink is “the one.” Tink recently spoke with the Sway In The Morning crew about Tim’s statement.

“I had heard him tell me that before, so it wasn’t a big shock like it was to the world,” said Tink. “To be clear, Tim never said, ‘She’s the next Aaliyah.’ There will never be another Aaliyah.”

The Chicago rapper/singer goes on to add she did not feel pressure from Timbaland’s comment. She took it as confirmation. Tink also discussed working with another frequent Timbo collaborator.

“Get that album Think Tink,” she stated. “Missy’s on the album.”
