(AllHipHop News) Sections of the internet blasted R&B singer August Alsina after footage of the “No Love” vocalist groping a young woman at a concert in Louisiana went viral. Alsina’s name began trending on Twitter as some users referred to him as misogynistic and called the act sexual harassment.
August used his own Twitter timeline to respond to the negative reaction to his on-stage fondling. The Def Jam recording artist called out his online critics.

As Alsina was being dragged through the wringer by certain users, others pointed out that female singers such as Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ciara, and Nicki Minaj are not chastised when they perform sexual acts on male concert goers.
So is this wrong too? August Alsina was wrong but Ciara good to go huh? pic.twitter.com/MQWriREhSh

Janet Jackson can do it to men, August Alsina can do it to women. Serenading is all it is. & fans have the option to NOT go on stage.

Think real hard if male R&B stars are predatory when taking fans on stage but female stars e.g. Janet & Beyonce are heroes. #AugustAlsina
