(AllHipHop News) It’s Brooklyn vs Brooklyn. Troy Ave has taken his issues with Joey Bada$$ to wax. Last July, the two rappers exchanges messages on Twitter about which NYC native was the top independent artist in Hip Hop. Now Troy has released a diss record aimed at Joey titled “Bad Ass.”

Apparently, Troy was sparked to fire lyrics at Joey because the Pro Era member mentioned him on the “Ready” record. Joey rapped, “My n*gga Kirk just out sold Troy Ave.”
Troy Ave faced tremendous bad press and social media ridicule after his Major Without A Deal album reportedly only sold around 7,000 copies in its first full week of release. In comparison, Joey’s B4.DA.$$ moved over 53,000 (57,000 SPS) copies in its first week [editor’s note: official sales numbers for Kirk Knight’s Late Knight Special could not be determined].
In response, Troy spits, “You sold a couple records, but nobody cares. You’re never on the radio, because nobody cares. You don’t matter, so you’re mad bruh. Nobody cares. Just an internet rapper. Nobody cares.”
Gotta lose some respect for people who support people that dissed them in the past. I was raised to show gratitude and never 4get who helped
