Ghostface Killah Says He’s In Control Of Next Wu-Tang Clan Album

ARE YOU READY FOR ANOTHER WU LP?

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan fans still may never get to fully hear the one-of-a-kind Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album, but the New York City collective is in the process of creating another LP.

And it looks as if Ghostface Killah will be at the helm for the project.

“RZA put the ball in my hand. He said ‘Yo, I want you to do it,’ and I been wanting to do it, and that’s a big test for me right there,” Ghostface told HipHopDX.

The creator of the classic albums Supreme Clientele and Fishscale has already mapped out his plan for bringing the Wu’s next collection together. Ghost is set to record his parts first, and then have the other members follow suit.

“It’s like how they do in sports with athletes. It’s like alright, just follow my lead,” explained the Staten Island representative. “I could be wrong, but my ears are my judgment. My heart tells me what’s right. But then again it might be somebody unexpected that blows everybody away. That’s how the Clan be. You never know who’s going to blow the track.”

Besides 2015’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, the Wu-Tang Clan also released A Better Tomorrow in 2014. Ghostface Killah’s last solo effort was Twelve Reasons To Die II which arrived nearly one year ago.
