Ohio Rappers Digmata And Ray Jr. Link For “Bottles” Single

DIGMATA PUTS ON FOR OHIO WITH RAY JR. ASSIST

Ohio rapper Digmata teams up with Def Jam signee Ray Jr. as the two exchange verses on a Protege Beats produced track. The song will find a home on DIgmata’s project Digmata The Life set for release this year.

“My team helped me get where I’m going – from the late nights in the studio, to the hard times on the road when tragedy happens.  They are always there for me and they push me to higher levels. Its ONE TEAM ONE DREAM and we really live by that so shout out to OTOD and make sure u follow me on all social medias channels. To my fans:  you are my family and honestly without y’all I can’t be here .. thats why I do this,” Digmata said in a statement to the media.

Wedged in between Cleveland and Columbus, up and coming rapper Digmata had to do the most in order to get out of his environment in Central Ohio. Raised in a small Ohio city with limited opportunities for the youth, Digmata had to fight against the grain with hard work and discipline to achieve his goals in music.

Avoiding a life of crime on a dead end path selling 8 balls and opting not to pursue the league dribbling a basketball, Digmata found his path in the studio. Shorty after his late brother David Bronson aka King Dave discovered he could keep his brother off the streets with music, the two dedicated their time to the craft of making music. To this day Digmata finds inspiration in the loss of his brother who tragically passed away before he could see his brother’s growth as an emcee.

“I got my start from my brother, David Bronson aka King Dave it was his way of keeping me out the streets . I started behind the scenes and I was actually a engineer at first, but when my brother lost his life I really started working at becoming an artist to keep his legacy alive and to make the dream become a reality,” Digmata explained.

Also influenced by music that reflects real life, Digmata hopes to create music that will give fans chills when they understand his life and the difficult past that he endured.

“This is my life, this project is about me and my story,” Digmata explained about his music. “From the intro to the outro –  this is me.  I I want to introduce my fans and anyone listening to Digmata and be able to relate. I want them to be like, ‘I know that dude.'”

While he preps for his studio album Digmata The Life,  this Ohio emcee is working on tours and shows in the future including a Midwest Tour with Big Heff of the Nerve Djs.
