Jake Strain addressed supporters with a direct update on Swaggertown Records as the label heads into 2026. He spoke openly about post-pandemic growth, early team decisions, and why stronger systems and accountability are now necessary.

Jake Strain has released an official public service announcement addressing supporters, collaborators, and business partners as Swaggertown Records continues its expansion heading into 2026.

“First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who’s been rocking with us since 2015,” Strain shared. “After the pandemic, everything finally took off. I spent so many years doing everything on my own that when growth happened, I didn’t fully understand what a real team was supposed to look like.”

Strain explained that during the early stages of growth, he placed close friends, family members, and trusted associates into key positions in an effort to build structure quickly. As the brand has continued to scale, Swaggertown Records is now implementing clearer systems, safeguards, and accountability measures to protect artists, supporters, and business partners.

In the video, viewers get a real behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day pressure of running an independent label—including footage of one of Strain’s phones flooded with messages—highlighting why expanding support roles such as A&R and operations has become necessary.
