Video: Mr. MFN eXquire Talks Influences, Favorite All-Time Rapper, and Getting Work

THE NAME SAYS IT ALL! MR. MFN exQUIRE DROPS HIS SPECIAL BRAND OF BEING ON ALLHIPHOP.COM IN NYC!

“I was born. I did some sh*t… mostly in Brooklyn. Drank some 40’s f*cked some ho’s, oh and I rap. You might have heard of me, maybe you haven’t… f*ck you either way.” – Mr. MFN eXquire

Hailing from Brooklyn, Mr. MFN eXquire has surely been making a name for himself over the past year with his outspoken nature, gritty and honest yet playful lyrics, and all of those damn necklaces he rocks. The man behind records like “Huzzah” and “Lou Ferrigno’s Mad” is one of a handful of the industry’s, and more specifically New York’s, most prolific artists who has been setting his city ablaze along with a new crop of MCs hailing from the Big Apple.

At the end of the day, though, no one can tell their own story better than the person himself who lived it. So, when AllHipHop.com bumped into Mr. MFN eXquire at the MTV2 Digital Mixer that was being held at the Beats By Dre story in New York City recently, that’s exactly what we got him to do.

Mr. MFN eXquire spoke about his non Hip-Hop influences, his all-time favorite MC, being labeled a “90’s style rapper,” and the story behind his many necklaces. Check out the first video with him below:

eXquire then opened up about Troy Ave’s “Home Team” record that dropped recently, featuring himself, Action Bronson and Maffew Ragazino, as well as the camraderie between the new wave of New York City MCs and the support they have for one another. He also touches on what he’s working on now musically:

In our last video, eXquire talks about who, if there is anyone, he’s “not feeling” and how he felt when he heard that fellow rapper Danny Brown called him “the next Biggie.”
