Cat Fights and Consequences: The New Cast of “Love & Hip-Hop” Gets Ready to Rumble

CAT FIGHTS & CONSEQUENCES: THE NEW CAST OF “LOVE & HIP-HOP” GETS READY TO RUMBLE

Bottles flying, arguments, tears, laughter, and drama are the key ingredients to a hit reality show. Mona Scott Young has that on lock, with the VH1 reality franchise, “Love & Hip-Hop.”

Like clockwork, the show comes on, and social media is on fire with play-by-play commentary. People complain about how awful the show is, but the masses are tuned in. This season will be no different with “Love & Hip-Hop 3”, featuring a slew of new cast members and returning veterans. Will this be the season we find out if there really is any love in Hip-Hop?

Meet the new cast of VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop 3”:

Joe & KaylinJoe Budden – The Grammy award-winning rapper, who is possibly one of the most unsung lyricists around – and a hopeless romantic – has joined the cast.

Budden is known for playing out his life through social media with very public breakups (think Joey vs. Esther Baxter, and Joey vs. Tahiry, and Joey vs…)

So, this season should be dubbed “Joey’s Angels”. Not only is Budden’s new girlfriend, Kaylin Garcia, on the show, but his old boo, Tahiry, is a new cast member.
Tahiry-175x300Tahiry Jose – The beautiful urban model, known for her super-public breakup with fellow cast member Joe Budden, is sure to bring the fire this season.

Ms. Tahiry’s witty sarcastic humor is sure to p### a few people off.

Raqi Thunda – The radio personality and DJ will be a storyline to watch.

Not only did rumors swirl about her connection to Joe Budden (although the two claim they are just friends), but the rumor mill is buzzing about a feud between her and Tahiry.

Let’s get ready to rumble!
ConsequenceConsequence – New York rapper Consequence and fellow cast member, Jen Bayer, bring a new dynamic to the cast – interracial dating, mixed religion, and child rearing issues all under one roof.

Consequence, a sometimes hothead who infamously wigged out on Sway Calloway’s “RapFix” couch in recent times and is also known for his work with Kanye West and A Tribe Called Quest, brings a new flavor to the show.

Winter Ramos – With tell-all book in the works and all-star roster of ex-boyfriends, the Creative Costume Designer for Flavor Unit Films screams drama. She’s also a former assistant to ex-cast member Emily B’s man, rapper Fabolous. Uh-oh! It’s about to be the coldest winter ever!

Rashidah Ali – Rounding out the new members is shoe stylist to the stars, “Rah,” as her friends call her. No stranger to reality television, Ali has appeared on “Basketball Wives” and “Real Housewives”, and has been known to hang out with the cast of “Mob Wives”.

Ali comes with her own drama; allegedly, she once sliced the face of a New York club bouncer. Let’s wait to see what antics she will bring to the show. For now, look for her new shoe line “Encore”, launching this month.

We can’t leave out our veteran cast members, with all the twists and turns each has faced since our last encounter. Newcomer Erica Mena, and Olivia’s manager, Rich Dollaz, are now dating. Former manager of Jim Jones, Yandy Smith, has returned a new mom with an accessory line. And then there’s on-again, off-again R&B singer, Olivia, who will be back for another season.

We’re sure the love will show up at some point! In the meantime, set your DVRs for the new Season 3 of VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop”, which premieres on January 7, 2013.
