(AllHipHop News) The closing track on disc one of The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death featured the Hip Hop legend telling the story of his sexual escapades with a woman and later robbing her New York Knicks boyfriend.
It seemed Biggie’s “I Got A Story To Tell” was just a normal exaggerated rap tale, but apparently the song was really based on a true story.

Former Knicks All-Star John Starks made an appearance on ESPN2’s Highly Questionable, and the show’s hosts asked him about the Biggie track. After pointing out he was not the NBA player referred to on “I Got A Story To Tell,” he did hint that he knew who Big was talking about.
“That wasn’t me. First and foremost, I’m not even 6’5”. I’m 6’2” actually, so it couldn’t have been about me,” said Starks. “I know who it was about, but I’m not going to say. I can’t tell you.”
When asked if he knew if the story was true, Starks stated he “heard something about it.”
