(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan’s U-God is releasing his new album Keynote Speaker today (July 23), but the Staten Island emcee also took the time to give his opinion on some other artists’ recent projects as well. When it comes to Kanye West’s 6th album Yeezus, U-God thinks the G.O.O.D. Music leader has traveled to far out into the galaxy.

“Tell him there’s no sound in space. He’s got to come back on planet Earth,” U-God tells The Huffington Post. “Space is a vacuum. There’s no sound in space. Earth is where it’s at. Come back down baby, come back.”
The 42-year-old rap veteran also had a few words for Roc Nation’s J. Cole. While he likes Cole’s music, he feels the Born Sinner performer should not be placing himself at the same level as Nas and Jay Z just yet.
“See, my whole thing is, with respect, dude’s got to earn that,” said U-God. “I don’t like it when dude’s just talking in the air, it’s like taking a gun out and shooting in the air. Naw, man. Just keep coming. Just keep making music until people bow down like that.”
U-God had more favorable things to say about J. Cole’s boss Jay Z’s latest album. He says Jay is in a “creative zone” and calls Magna Carta Holy Grail a transitional album to the digital age.
The Universal God also recognizes Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and Drake as rappers that get his “blood boiling” with their talent.
“I don’t know why n##### frontin’ on Drake. He has rhymes, man. He’s getting it in. I’m not trying to be like him, but I’m not going to front on you, I like his style of music,” said U-God about the Young Money artist.
