Irv Gotti Confirms Whether Or Not He Was Smashing Ashanti Back In The Day!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Irv Gotti certainly isn’t holding anything back on his ‘Tales’ series press run!

There have been long-standing rumors of Irv Gotti and Ashanti allegedly hooking up back in the Murder Inc heydays.

Irv Gotti seemed to be very obsessed with Ashanti on social media over the years, and lead many to believe that they indeed were smashing back in the day.

Well, Irv stopped by and chatted with Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex and ended up confirming that he and Ashanti used to get it on back then. I swear I’m not surprised. It was a lot of money, everyone was number one, and apparently everyone was smashing each other back then. LOL!

Although Irv has been promoting his BET ‘Tales’ series, it wouldn’t be Flex if he didn’t get to the bottom of some old messy rumor!

Irv even agreed with Flex on how good Ashanti’s been looking lately. I knew they were messing around from how awkwardly Ashanti would respond to Irv’s past antics on the gram.

Apparently Irv and Nelly got into it also over Ashanti. Ashanti still looks amazing. Who else do you think was getting it in back in the day?

OVO Sound’s Majid Jordan & PartyNextDoor Connect For “One I Want” Track

(AllHipHop News) Two of the promising R&B acts on the OVO Sound roster teamed up on a new record.

Toronto duo Majid Jordan tapped Canadian singer-songwriter PartyNextDoor for “One I Want.”

Last year, Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman dropped their self-titled debut album.

2016 also saw the arrival of PND’s PartyNextDoor 3 which followed the 2014 effort PartyNextDoor Two.

Both Majid Jordan and PartyNextDoor have contributed to musical work by their OVO boss Drake.

Al Maskati and Ullman have writing/producing credit on Drizzy’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” from Nothing Was The Same.

PND wrote on various Drake bodies of work such as If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Views, and More Life.

Stevie J Is Allegedly Demanding A List Of Joseline’s Sex Partners!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has been explosive on and off-screen this season.

The reality show has been plagued by paternity test drama with several of it’s cast members.

Apparently Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez are still battling it out in court over baby Bonnie Bella!

Stevie has been allegedly known to get around from the 90s to present day, so it’s pretty shocking that he’s allegedly demanding a list of Joseline’s sex partners.

Well I guess you kind of have to when there are trust issues involved, but in order to establish paternity, or to be cleared, all Steebie has to do is take the darn paternity test.

According to TheJasmineBrand Stevie J. is asking a judge to force Joseline to reveal her gross income from 2014-2017, her highest education level, her arrests within the past 10 years and how much she makes for club appearances. But that’s not all, Steebie wants to know every person Joseline had sex with in 2016.

Apparently he wants to know if Joseline has used any drugs and if she’s been to counseling and anger management also. With the sexual partners, I’m trying to figure out if he’s still in denial that he’s the father, or if he’s saying Joseline sleeping around with random men creates a bad environment for their daughter.

Why on earth did they have a child together?!

Lil Boosie’s Baby Mama Says He Won’t Return Their Daughter

(AllHipHop Rumors) There is a lot going on between rapper Boosie BadAzz and one of his baby mamas!

The mother of Boosie’s child, Rachel Wagner, recently lost the custody battle of their 9-year-old daughter, Toriana Hatch, after the judge recently tossed out a case she brought to court.

Apparently Wagner claimed that Boosie would not return Toriana, and decided to take legal action to get her daughter back!

According to The Jasmine Brand, court documents show that Wagner accuses Boosie of illegally detaining a minor (their daughter) and not allowing custody.

Wagner completely lost out when she failed to even show up to court to serve him with the legal documents, and the case was thrown out.

What makes this case even more interesting is the fact that Boosie is not the child’s legal father under law, because the two never went to court to legitimize or establish paternity.

How terrible could your baby mama be, where you don’t even want to share custody. Issa mess. Men and women, be careful who you lay down and have kids with. Carry on.

Consumers will be able to shop at the Crenshaw native’s The Marathon Clothing flagship at 3420 W. Slauson Ave beginning on June 17th.

The Marathon is being presented as a “smart store” where customers can download an app in order to activate special features.

“When you walk into the store, there’s going to be tags that are going to have content,” explained Nip. “So we’ll promote this certain shirt, and it’ll be a piece of content that’s programmed specifically to this shirt so that when the shirt drops you get the shirt and a piece of content that’s not on iTunes or YouTube. You can’t consume it anywhere else.”

Is Kylie Jenner Blowing Insane Amounts Of Money On Travis Scott?

(AllHipHop Rumors) These rappers love running through Kylie Jenner’s money!

Kylie had been balling out on her financial-woed ex bae rapper Tyga, and apparently she’s spending racks on racks on her new rapper boyfriend Travis Scott as well.

Apparently Kylie is keeping Scott very happy as she’s allegedly dropping loads of cash on him as she’s supposedly been showering him with lavish gifts and vacations.

According to RadarOnline, Kylie has essentially become Travis’ sugar mama.

“Kylie is blowing an insane amount of money on trying to buy Travis’s love. She is literally his sugar mama! He is not paying for anything right now,” said an inside source.

The insider went on to say that Tyga is upset about Kylie moving on.

“Tyga is apparently upset because he is not getting the perks of being with Kylie anymore. He used to love the money, jewelry and cars!” claims the source.

Kylie is allegedly buying Travis new clothes to redo his image. Does it seem like Kylie is trying to buy love? We’ve yet to hear about Trav spoiling her yet, but carry on.

XXL Editor Explains Cardi B, Young M.A, YFN Lucci & Famous Dex Omissions From 2017 Freshman Class (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Every year a debate rages about the selections for the annual XXL Freshman Class cover.

This year’s crop was hit with the same criticism from fans and pundits who wondered why certain artists were not included on the list.

XXL Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss some of the major omissions from the 2017 Class.

On Cardi B:

We were on the fence. And felt, was it more TV or was she going to go more in the Hip Hop direction with the music? Where would the career kind of more be? It felt like it was very much TV heavy. She was definitely on our radar, but she just didn’t come in the final ten for us.

On Young M.A:

Young M.A said that she was beyond it. She felt like she should be on a solo cover by now. So we said okay, we’ll just keep it moving… Once you show you’re not really so into it and your aspirations are somewhere else and you think you’re beyond it, we just say okay… Sometimes the timing just doesn’t fit right. She seemed to have a big run a couple of months ago. So for us, it just didn’t seem like the best fit for right  now, including she didn’t seem as interested.

On YFN Lucci:

YFN Lucci didn’t want to play any music for us. He refused. Then the day before the shoot or a couple of days before the shoot, they called us and said he wanted to play music. At that point, it was too late for us. We had tried every which way. They weren’t playing music for us. They called us a few days before and said he’d come up. I could be getting this wrong. I believed he said he wasn’t going to play music unless he was guaranteed on and wouldn’t talk to us. If you’re not going to play music and work with us and try to be apart of the whole thing and show any interest with it, then we’re going to keep it moving after that.

On Famous Dex:

We argued a lot over the Famous Dex situation and what we should do with that… There’s a lot of political issues right there that I’m not really sure how long it’ll take to clear up before you get to the next level…I would say [Dex assaulting a woman] was part of it. There’s a hurdle to get over there, and I don’t know if right now it’s going to happen. There was a lot of talk about that… You can argue either way. You can say [XXXTentacion] has got issues. You can say Famous Dex has issues. I think the difference with Famous Dex having it on camera creates a different situation. We saw it. I think the thing with X is also he’s the People’s Champ and hasn’t been found guilty of anything. You kind of have to let that play out. That’s who the people wanted.

Other questionable snubs include Tee Grizzley, Don Q, Russ, 6LACK, Nick Grant, Dae Dae, Nav, and Ski Mask The Slump God.

The 2017 XXL Freshman Class consists of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Aminé, Kamaiyah, Kap G, Kyle, Madeintyo, Playboi Carti, PnB Rock, Ugly God, and XXXTentacion.

Chance The Rapper Helps Announce $2 Million Chicago Beyond Go Innovation Challenge (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper’s mission of serving as Chance The Philanthropist adds another important effort.

Following his $1 million donation to Chicago Public Schools and establishing his Social Works summer music courses for students, Chance is once again assisting the young people in his hometown.

The “Angels” performer is teaming with Chicago Beyond for the second annual Go Innovation Challenge.

Chance and Chicago Beyond Managing Director Liz Dozier announced the initiative on Facebook.

“Chicago’s young people possess tremendous potential and deserve every opportunity to thrive and succeed,” says Dozier in a press release. “We’re looking for nonprofits who are working to unleash that potential and we’re making it easy for any organization to apply. You don’t need sleek production. All you need is a camera phone and a great concept.”

Individuals interested in participating have to record a 90-second video explaining their concept, and then send the clip to Chicago Beyond.

The challenge is open to organizations inside and outside of Chicago as long as the program, idea, or approach can be implemented in Chicago.

“Our responsibility to Chicago’s kids is not over when school is out,” adds Chance. “It’s more important than ever to find programs making a real difference in the lives of young Chicagoans. Our city can’t let the status quo continue, and Chicago Beyond’s investments in these life-changing programs will help break the cycles that keep kids from realizing their potential.”

Winners of the Innovation Challenge could each receive up to a $2 million investment and will get to work closely with Chicago Beyond to grow their program, idea, or approach.

The 2016 winners included The Dovetail Project, Genesys Works Chicago, and Storycatchers Theatre with them receiving investments that totaled nearly $3 million.

“Chicago Beyond has been an incredible partner in our effort to reach more court involved youth by enhancing and expanding our programming,” says Meade Palidofsky, founder and Artistic Director of Storycatchers Theatre. “Their investment and partnership has allowed us to expand to a year-round employment program, and has also given us the capacity to refine and evaluate our model based on real data gleaned by connecting us with Urban Labs. We are confident that Chicago Beyond’s investment will move us closer to our long-term goal of growing Storycatchers into a statewide program.”

Chicago Beyond is a venture philanthropy fund that helps organizations transform the lives of young people by focusing on youth safety and educational attainment.

To submit an idea for the 2017 Chicago Beyond Go Innovation Challenge visit chicagobeyond.org. The deadline for submission is 11:59 pm CT on July 7.

Travis Scott Reportedly Had To Give Up 50% Of “Antidote” To Secure Sample Use (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Sampling has been part of the making of rap music from the very beginning, but the practice can be very expensive for the artist.

Reportedly, Travis Scott experienced that situation with his single “Antidote” off Rodeo.

Toronto producer Eestbound worked on the song, and he revealed the sample from Lee Fields & The Expressions’ “All I Need” cost Scott half of the track’s publishing.

“When Travis Scott released the song on SoundCloud which is a not for profit organization – they still make money but it’s for free pretty much. There’s no money being generated. When he released it on Soundcloud, we didn’t even know,” Eestbound told BeatStars. “Before that, we didn’t even get any paperwork or anything or an email saying he’s going to release it.”

He continued, “After he released it, it was kind of an issue because the people from the sample told Travis that they want 50 percent of the record, which is normal because Travis didn’t clear it at first. They had to come to him. It was actually generous that they gave us 50 percent because most people could have easily said 75 percent, and he’d just have to take it.”

Travis Scott’s “Antidote” was co-produced by WondaGurl.

As of April 2017, the song has been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA.

It peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Remy Ma Talks Bringing Out Female Rappers & Performing “Shether” At Summer Jam (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Remy Ma presented the most talked about performance at this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam concert.

In a moment of Hip Hop unity, the Bronx native brought out fellow female rappers Lil Kim, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Rah Digga, The Lady Of Rage, Monie Love, Young M.A, and Cardi B.

Hot’s Peter Rosenberg caught up with Rem, Rage, and Monie backstage at Summer Jam.

“I had a vision last night, I had a dream. I woke up and [I thought] I want to bring all the sisters out at Summer Jam. That’s what I want to do with my moment,” said Remy. “I told them I could stand there and use my 15, 20 minutes and slander somebody down to the ground. Or I could use it and make it a moment that people would remember, uplift my sisters, and show the unity and love.”

However, Rosenberg pointed out Remy took aim once again at her rival Nicki Minaj by performing the scathing diss track “Shether” at the event.

“It was kind of like putting flowers on the grave because the body was already gone,” said the Love & Hip Hop star.

Remy also talked about Nicki’s recent verses that included disses directed at her, and that was part of the reason she has continued her verbal assault against the Young Money representative.

“More importantly, people need to understand it’s not just one person. It’s not just two people. It’s a whole slew of us. Everybody’s a queen,” stated Rem.

She added, “Being a queen is not just [saying,] ‘I sold the most records’ or ‘I have the most followers on Instagram.’ It’s about embracing other queens that came before you, embracing the ones there with you now, and embracing the ones that are coming after you.”

Apparently, Remy Ma also reached out to Salt-N-Pepa, Roxanne Shante, Eve, Yo-Yo, Da Brat, and Trina for her Summer Jam set.

Those women were not able to make it due to prior engagements.
